Hotel Plaza Carnaval

Incredibley helpfull and friendly staff. The best we've seen in years.

Beautiful hotel with all the conforts you expect from a top rated hotel. Their breakfast was excellent, good location at the end of the peatonal and excellent if you go during Carnival with the best view of Plaza del Carnaval. Their staff was excellent and very helpful.

Guest who wake up early or arrive late can be noisy in the common areas and there are no signs asking them to keep a quiet voice during sleeping hours.

Mostly everything. We had an amazing experience.. The staff attention was incredible. There was a problem with our bathroom, so they changed our room for a better one free of price. The rooms are comfy and well kept. They are well equipped and are protected from the cold weather outside. Breakfas is great with different options available. We had to stay in Ipiales and La Cocha each for one night. The hotel was very kind to keep our luggage so we just took what was necessary for our baby and us. This hotel is a great option if you want a relaxed and family environment. Additionally, they jave snacks, coffee and hot water available

Breakfast was fine. Location is not good because it is in a poor section of Pasto, unsafe to walk outside at night and no good restaurants nearby. But otherwise this is a very good hotel, good value for money.

The neighborhood is unsafe at night.

Clean and modern hotel with secure parking next door. Located on a large plaza and close to several bars and restaurants. Nice to see tea and coffee available in reception, and we also liked the complimentary fruit tea brought to our room in the evening with a small snack. Breakfast was the usual eggs, but the restaurant is on the top floor so nice views.

Lots of marble so noise inside is amplified, especially from reception and brats playing in public areas.

Room was comfortable and very clean. We had 2 large single beds. They gave us a room over looking the street but the traffic noise was a little too much so they gladly moved us to a quieter room. There was a night time tea and biscuits delivered to our room which was a nice touch .Car parking was fantastic and staff were excellent. Located in a good position to walk around town. Breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than opening and they made up a yogurt muesli parfait , juice, scrambled egg ,coffee and banana. The buffet would have been better but we were in a hurry to travel to Ecuador.

All the staff is so kind and all the facilities are so good. I love the coco bread and also the cookies and tea of the night for free.

Everything was nice

We arrived tired and hungry and the staff were very helpful arranging dinner delivered to our room. The facilities were excellent. Breakfast on the terrace set us up nicely for the next day.

Friendly staff, clean and relatively new. One of the nights a member of the staff sow as arrive and ask for our room number, minutes later showed up with some cheese and panela water. Nice touch

We changed dates for the stay and had to wait 17 hours without knowing what will the answer be as the owner was out of reach. I pay for 1 extra night at the property as I arrive 1 day early, and I told them I wanted to leave 1 day before. The receptionist couldn’t refund me at the time as the reservation was made throw booking and with credit card, meaning they needed the owner’s approval. So I waited till the last day not knowing if I was or wasn’t getting the money back. At the end they gave me a refund in local currency but had us intrigued and concerned for what for us was an eternity.

Great beds. Spacious room. Fantastic staff. Nice breakfast. Very helpful front desk staff. Very clean accommodations. Great value. Would stay here again.

Only one electrical outlet in the room. Could use a second bedside table with lamps. The lighting is super bright. Room 104 is right on the street and stuffy. Only one window you can open. Lots of traffic noise Ask for a room away from the street, although we did not see any with outside windows.

The location was really good. Breakfast was superb. Staff was helpful and kind.

The parking service was not the best. I had to return to the hotel after departing for the airport to change parking spots. I asked if my car was fine were I parked before leaving the first time.

The receptionist didn`t have the keys to my room as they lost them and had to go make a copy.
