Henn na Hotel Kanazawa Korimbo

Self-check in/check out by machine is very convenient. Room is spacious for a solo traveler like me. I was surprised and grateful that they upgraded my room for free of charge. They also gave me a coupon via email for my next stay

I got an upgraded room for free compared to what I booked. Very spacious (based on Japanese standard) and fully equipped room - fridge, kettle etc. in a modern building with good facilities - new coin operated washing mashines. Easy check in and out with dinosaurs at the counter (so cool). Hotel is quite a way from the train staition but you can get a bus or taxi to get there, and very close to Kanazawa Castle garden and Kenroku-en - both worth to see!

Location, clean and organizes

The location was the best!

A more tea would have been nice and the robots are silly, it is a bit strange to check in with robot dino's, Wifi was weak some parts of the day.

It was clean. Check in was easy enough despite not speaking Raptor. Good shower, fine bed.

The dinosaurs are fun, but you never see a human. Also, we didn’t get the whole sponsorship thing. Apparently, our floor was somehow sponsored by Gorilla Curry. The logos were around, but…

It is nice experience to stay in Henna hotel. The location is great, you can walk around very easily. No need transportation to visit most of the sightseeing like samurai district, castle and so on

I like everything. I would like to ask to have some lotion or cream for women. To make the hotel more women friendly.

Pretty much the best location you can stay in Kanazawa. Easy access to every attraction, very walkable. We were able to drop by our hotel after every attraction without going out of the way. Also there were animatronic velociraptors that greeted us at reception due to the Halloween season. Checkin was very easy.

The location was amazing. 30 minute walk from the train station and right next to shrines and the castle. Plenty of local food and drink nearby as well.

The place was spotless except for a bug I found in the bathroom. It looked like a small roach. It must have been a fluke because this place was clean. Also the bed was very uncomfortable. I like a plush bed but every one I've slept on here has felt rock hard. So it's just a me thing I'm sure.

We received a slight upgrade and our room was perfect. Spacious, large beds, lots of space. Above and beyond my expectations. And who doesn’t like being greeted by a velociraptor?

The hotel is super convenient and very comfortable. Lots of food options nearby and easy to walk around the area. It was clean, the dinosaurs made it easy to check in, overall a great hotel

The pillows were so flat that it felt like i wasn't sleeping on one at all

The "human-free" interaction as exciting for my kiddos, and that was one of the reasons that I picked this hotel. One often doesn't get to checked-in by robotic dinosaurs.

Staff-less check-in & check-out system is very easy (in front of 2 big dinosaurs), when the real staff are always available behind the door as needed. The room is spacious and clean. You can easily clean your clothes with the laundry machines on the 2nd floor for 800 Yen including detergent already automatically provided in the machine. The location is excellent.

Great location. The dinosaur check was a hit with our dinosaur loving son.

The bathrooms in our two rooms smelt like urine. Reception staff wasn’t very friendly when we used buzzer for assistance.

Excellent budget hotel in the center of Kanazawa, within easy walking distance to most of the main attractions. The hotel itself is clean and modern, and the room I had was a good size for a Japanese hotel (more than adequate for a single traveler). I have stayed there now on two separate occasions, and always found the hotel to be excellent value. I would definitely stay there again on any future trips to Kanazawa.

This is a nice hotel in a great location near Kanazawa castle and the Samurai district. We found the room to be clean and comfortable.The bus stop is nearby with access to most of the attractions. Lots of good local restaurants just one street back from main road. We thought the Dinosaurs at the reception were hilarious.

The property is very well located near temple , market and gardens

I hated the fact that at the reception you are greeted by dinosaurs not real staff. When you do reach the staff they are not very helpful
