Hotel Forza Kanazawa

Pretty much everything. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The shower was amazing, the foot and back massagers were fantastic. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was awesome.

Less amenities at the amenity bar than expected.

Good location close to the Shinkansen and Caste. The circle busline also passes by. Breakfast and room were of good quality

Everything was great

The breakfast had an excellent variety between Japanese and western food and was delicious every day. The staff always greeted us with a smile when setting up our table. There was also a lovely dining area with complementary coffee/drink machine available.

My only minor complaint was that the rooms/hotel was very, very warm despite turning the heater off. We had to keep the window open on most days/nights while in the room.

Hotel was perfectly located, a short walk from Kanazawa station, the Kenrokuen gardens and Kanazawa castle and just across the road from the Omicho market. There were three adults in a room and it was perfectly sized and very happy with the facilities in the room and hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was great value for money.

For the price of the hotel room, there was absolutely nothing I could fault with the hotel.

Perfect location! Across from the Omachi market and an easy walk to the train station. The room was clean, comfortable and met our needs.

The check in procedure was by machine but the staff had to guide guests with the process so appeared slow.

We ended up extending our stay here a few times as it was so wonderful. Really nice, clean, luxurious. Nice dining area to enjoy your own meals. Comfortable beds, large bathtubs, and provided amenities like soaps, lotions, extra washcloths, etc. The location couldn't have been better as it was a close walk from the train station and still right downtown to walk and enjoy all of the shops/restaurants, etc. Super convenient.

Why do the Japanese hotels lock the stairwell doors on each floor? It wasn't just this one, but all of them. Seems like a very big emergency risk as well as being annoying for those of us who like to use stairs (exercise and energy savings) and who don't enjoy waiting for the elevators all of the time. Other than that, nothing to complain about, it was a great stay. Do NOT eat at the mall basement market across the street. They really cater to the tourist and charge accordingly. I bought a Chinese dish at a cart in the front of the market and wanted to go back and chew him out. I had chicken, which when I got it back to the hotel, was only gristle. ONLY gristle! Avoid.

The room was very small, but relatively comfortable. The cleanliness was at a relatively good level in both the room and the bathroom.

"Comfort Double Room" should be renamed "Small Double Room"

Bed attached one side to the wall. For breakfast you need to take a number and wait until it’s your turn, never saw something like this before. Looks like they were not fast enough to clean already emptied tables.
