Location and price

Great location, short walk from bus stop. Nearby to the castle. Relatively comfortable stay. Free umbrella rental. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Tourist info centre also a short walk away. Free snacks and soup rice at certain times of the day.

Great hospitality, fabulous food, and clean facilities.

Only two elevators for the whole 12 floor, so bit crowded

Breakfast was excellent and well worth paying extra for. We could even have some bubbly with it! The room was spacious and nice with a good choice of pillows. I liked the complimentary evening wine, and there was a small selection of snacks (tho they ran out quickly!). The staff were friendly, check in was easy and, as a lkong-term permanent resident, I appreciated not being pressured to show my zairyu card.

One small bath towel wasn't really enough.

This is my favourite hotel so far! Room size is comfortable and facilities were top notch. Great range of amenities available. There is also a communal bath on site and is very well equipped. Love the range of milk available in the hotel's vending machine. Access to lounge was a nice touch. We had different decadent snacks and beverages throughout the day (except breakfast time). Check out was a breeze, you can do it through the TV in your room and just leave the keys. There's so many details to elaborate on, but in short, I am beyond satisfied. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I am in Kanazawa!

Can't think of anything! Perhaps the auto check-in was a bit hard to manoeuvre but front desk staff is always available and readily assisted.

The public bath is very good. The morning coffee and juices are appreciated, as are the happy hour drinks and evening snack.

Could be cleaner, outdated noisy AC and staff had problem to unlock window for fresh air until I promised them, if I fall from the window, it is going to be my responsibility ??

The Intergate Kanazawa was one of the best hotels we stayed at in our 2 week trip in Japan. And it was the least expensive by far! The bedroom was roomy and well set up for three people and the second sink outside of the bathroom was very helpful. The hotel had laundry machines available, afternoon snacks/wine included and a lovely Onsen. It is centrally located within Kanazawa and we had some excellent meals within a short walk (the French bakery nearby is a must try for breakfast!). The staff were very helpful and friendly - even notifying us we left some air pods and coordinating them to be sent to our final destination hotel. Would definitely recommend!

The Intergate was perfectly situated for sightseeing across the city. The staff was friendly and helpful and allowed me to coat check my bags before I checked in. The breakfast buffet was very good and the hotel offers a very large variety of lounge activities as well as other activities.

There was nothing I noted that needed to be improved.

We highly recommend this hotel if you're in Kanazawa. The staff are amazing, and even the standard room makes you feel you're in a luxury hotel. It is also close to some restaurants and kobinis. In the lobby, they even have a small cafe where you can relax. Give them a try! :)

It’s an excellent hotel. The staff are extremely helpful. The check in process is smooth, location is very good, though not near the train station, but the bus is very convenient.

Staff was polite but not very helpful and cold. I think a lot of people in Japan are tired of tourists, even those who benefit from tourism.

Location near Castle Park and Oyama shrine. Also a block from main street and bus stops. Toilet was separate room from Shower/bath. Happy hour and coffee avail all day was nice.

Rooms small per usual for Japan. Ground floor lobby/HH lounge was small given size of hotel and number of guests using.

Good location. Around 3 bus stops from kanazawa station. Easy to get to almost everywhere on foot from the hotel. We only took the bus to the ninja weapon museum area. The bus stop is around 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel. Room was quite spacious for japan and clean.
