Kaname INN Tatemachi

Convenient location, very close to gardens and castle, shopping and eating. We were on the 8th floor, very quiet location, even with window opened. Highly recommend. Staff super helpful, gave us ideas on where to go for breakfast. Music bar, is a bonus.

Had deluxe twin on top floor--bedroom very small but living room large and very comfortably furnished. Staff was fluent in English and VERY helpful

The location was fabulous. A quick walk to many lovely restaurants, the river walk and downtown. We really enjoyed our stay here. Rachael was an excellent guide for the city.

Room was nice and spacious, the staff were all helpful too. The hotel has a google maps list with some great food recommendations. The music bar is a nice bonus and overall the stay is good value for money.

If you are on the 8th floor you are by the smoking balcony.. if you are a non smoker this floor is not ideal

Bed was to hard for my liking. Same with the pillows. As much as I loved the hotel. I slept the least here out of my entire trip. Still will recommend this place as this is my issue not the hotels issue.

I loved this place. If I ever come back to Kanazawa I'll gladly stay here again. Its close to almost everything - some walkable or a short bus. Its also in a cute shopping district. The bottom floor gets busy at night but its still easy to go to your room undisturbed if you would rather. We ate at the restaurant one night and it was good food and the DJ was playing some good spins. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Thank you so much!

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The music bar really exceeded our expectations and we utilized it every night.. The food, quality, inventive cocktails and music selections were great. Unbelievable sound system. My husband was impressed with those Westminster Tannoy speakers. Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet rooms and a pleasant and convenient location. The boxed breakfasts were delicious too.

I would have liked a luggage rack for my bag or shelves or dresser for my clothes as we stayed for three nights. Also a bedside table or shelf. But these were minor things and the overall experience was excellent. Great memories from our stay.

The location was great and access to in-room laundry was a nice addition. The lobby bar was very nice and lively. Services was top notch in going above and beyond with finding a lost item.

The room sofa could use a little TLC and spot cleaning but the room over all was clean and well appointed kitchenette.

This is really lovely hotel with great staff and comfortable rooms. It is perfectly located within Kanazawa to explore various samurai neighborhoods, museums, and cafes. Walking in any direction takes you to something interesting. The record bar is a great feature of this hotel! The cocktails are really fun and the bar snacks are tasty. This is the perfect place to stay for a fun visit in Kanazawa

While the record bar is really fun, the music is just SO loud. It's not possible to have a conversation or enjoy a dinner. It was nightclub levels of loud- just turning the volume down a little bit would make a difference!

Kaname Inn Tatemachi has a good location located close to bus lines that connect to Kanazawa Station. It is a very modern hotel, with a beautiful bar in the first floor, with good drinks and music. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. If you want a amazing hotel to stay, this is it for Kanazawa.

The location is central and made it super easy to get around. Loved the music bar downstairs — such a fun vibe! Would definitely stay again.

Sometimes elevator took a while.

The hotel appears to be a semi pedestrianised shopping street, but there was no outside noise, not even from the fabulous music bar where you can get breakfast or just a coffee in the morning or nod to the tunes in the evening.

The rooms are a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint and a few repairs. The outside
