Excellent location opposite the Castle Park and close to other tourist sites including the stunning Kenrokuen Garden. I paid a little extra for a park view room on the top floor which I think was worth it. The hotel is modern with a good sized restaurant that faces the park. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
The hotel description mentioned a bar and restaurant. I was surprised to find the bar was closed and dinner required 3 day's advance notice!!Failing to realise that spending only one day in Kanazawa would be woefully inadequate.
Location, location was everything. Across the street from the samurai castle and gardens. Central and close to other parts of town for sightseeing.
Breakfast buffet was sufficient except the coffee was very weak.
