Hotel Nikko Kanazawa

Breakfast buffet was excellent, basement level connection to Kanazawa station very convenient.

Perfect location 5-6 mins walking distance from the station, beautiful lobby, friendly reception, clean room, new clean pyjamas everyday, spacious room compared to other rooms in Japan

The bed was not comfortable

Location is perfect for trains, big open lobby with friendly staff.

Rooms are very dated and urgently need updates, breakfast is shy of a disaster in a super small venue in relation to the sheer size of the hotel and zero facilities like gym or onsen.

Beautiful property, spacious room, very nice and courteous staff. The area is very convenient. Took advantage of its connections underground to get to the station when the weather wasn’t ideal. The breakfast buffet also had nice variety.

Near Kanazawa station, malls and restos. Great value for money.

The room was generally comfortable, but the bathroom could really use an upgrade. Some areas of the room also show their age, and a refresh would greatly improve the overall experience.

Loved this place! Very conveniently located, very nice lobby, staff were all super helpful. Room was clean, and beds were super comfy! Would absolutely stay here again when in Kanazawa. And highly recommend this hotel. Can’t say enough great things about it!

The hotel entrance is magnificent, the decor of the hotel is very fancy.it had a very good breakfast with high variety of options.The room was spacious and comfortable.The hotel is right near the Kanazawa station.

Hotel was perfectly situated directly across from train station and so clean and comfortable. Staff could not have been more helpful with suggestions and even looked after our luggage while we toured the town at no extra cost. Breakfast buffet was amazing.

Had the Japanese breakfast instead of the International Breakfast buffet. It did not disappoint with elegant presentation and expertly prepared food. I had a high floor room with a good view of Kanazawa. The corner room was of a nice size and had a comfortable bed. Complimentary bottles of water was provided in the rooms. The bedroom slippers were comfortable and sturdy.

The open nature of the bathroom with the basin in the open and the toilet and showers in 2 separate rooms can make it awkward for some.

Great location, perfect room, good breakfast

It was very conveniently located by the train station. We loved our view of the city, and our room in general was very comfortable! The bath was great, set up more like a traditional Japanese style with bath and toilet separated, and it was very relaxing to soak in after a long day sightseeing!

There was some confusion understanding the house keeping schedule, but we weren’t sure if it was just misunderstanding on our part.

This hotel has a great location by the station, the staff were lovely, and the lobby is beautiful. Clean rooms, fantastic breakfast buffet. Very happy to have booked here!

The room was small, but that's kind of par for the course in Japan so no biggie haha.

This is a decent, modern, mid-range hotel located conveniently near to the train station. Our room was okay, and in good condition, but no extra frills. The concierge team were helpful in arranging dinner reservations and pleasant to deal with.

We were disappointed in the buffet breakfast. The breakfast room was crowded and busy. Although there was an extensive choice of food items, we found the quality to be lacking for many of them.

Location, staff and amenities

Hotel Nikko Kanazawa is an affordable luxury 4-star hotel near the train station. The entrance hall is very grand and impressive. We live on the 26th floor with a beautiful view of city skyline. Our room is clean, comfortable and spacious in Japanese standard. We ate our breakfast at the Garden House. It is a grand dinning facility with plenty of Asian and Western food to choose from. Hotel staff everywhere are welcoming and supportive. Most of them can speak English. We enjoyed our three-nights stay in this wonderful hotel.

The rooms were large and comfy. The staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient.

We liked everything. Very happy with this hotel.

High floors, close to the station

The room was smaller than I expected, the elevators were always busy and took a little longer than other hotels, but I guess that’s to be expected with how many floors the hotel has

The location is a 5-minute walk from Kanazawa Station. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers both Oriental and Western food.

Great location close to JR station.

It was slightly small room but standard for Japan.
