Smile Hotel Premium Kanazawa Higashiguchi Ekimae

The hotel is very close to the train station—my room even had a view of it. The room was clean, and the staff provided great service.

Very clean, nicer beds, bigger rooms

The location was fantastic. We got hit by a lot of rain and snow, so walking across the street into the mall and then through the mall into the train station to get to a bus or train was very simple and dry. The rooms were very clean. The laundry was very useful. The rooms were very large for Japan.

The breakfast was just so-so. Not that is was bad, it just wasn't that great. It was exactly picture-perfect to the photo, so I wasn't deceived.

Less than 5 minutes walking distance from the Kanazawa train station. Spacious room, comfy mattress. Spotless white bedsheets and towels. Room amenities (cosmetics) available by the reception area. Complementary coffee and tea station available at the reception.

Breakfast, large room, clean, location.

A very nice sized main room and bathroom and very close to the train station. The coin laundry machines were very useful for me. Since it is located close to the train station, there is a bit of a walk to the downtown and tourist areas of Kanazawa, but it is is a nice walk and there are buses from the rail station. The coffee and tea machine in the lobby was a nice touch.

Great convenient location right next to the train station. Also a pleasant walk to the castle and garden. We chose it for the location and price and it worked well for us. Comfortable and very clean. Staff was very helpful We had forwarded our luggage, and they helped us forward it on to our next hotel.

Location, room big enough, laundry room well equipped

Close to station. They hold your luggage for free. Pretty decent size rooms. Hotel staff is friendly.

The hotel location was next to Kanazawa station, which was perfect for me as I did not want to take a bus to the hotel when carrying my 2 big luggages. There were also a lot of department stores and restaurants around the area. The main bus stops to every main attractions in Kanazawa, or even to Shirakawago, were also at Kanazawa Station, so it was very comfortable to plan the trip while staying at this hotel. The staff was very helpful.

The air condition mode could not be chosen. I had to open the window to make my room more ventilated and the temperature was cold enough for me to sleep well. The bed was a little bit hard, while the pillow was too soft.

Soundproofing isn't great, but still, I had a quiet night since this is Japan!

Hotel very easy to find. Come out of the East exit where the Tsuzuni-mon Gate is. If you stand at the Railway Transport Information Booth and look up to your left you can see the hotel. We received a very warm welcome and were able to leave our luggage until the 2 p.m. check in. Our room was small but we had room to move around and just left our cases zipped up. The bed was comfortable and water was hot. We had a desk and two chairs. WiFi was a bit sketchy. One of us could connect but the other couldn’t. Amenities are downstairs in the foyer along with a free coffee/drink machine. Absolutely perfect position for the station. We had to catch a train for the Kurobe Gorge the next day. Bus station is right there too and we took the Kanazawa Loop bus a couple of times. If you want to heat your own food there is a microwave on the second floor along with a cold drink vending machine and also an ice machine. We stayed 2 nights and left our luggage again on checkout until we needed to catch our train. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location. Very close to train and bus station. Very big rooms and helpful staff. Large Japanese breakfast with option of continental breakfast to book in advance.

About 2 blocks (5 minutes) from the train station, Smile Hotel Premium Kanazawa Higashiguchiekimae was a great location, easy to find, lots of restaurants nearby and only a 15-20 min walk to all the things you'd want to see in Kanazawa. Good, clean rooms and a very nice staff who were friendly and helped with my luggage forwarding.

Nothing to complain about here, a great location if you want to be close to transportation.

The room is compact but comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and a very convenient closet. A blanket is provided in case it gets chilly at night. Kanazawa Station is just a 3-minute walk away, which makes the location extremely convenient. The staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here.
