    Pros +

    • Location is good.
    • The room had a wonderful view of the city and castle. There was plenty of room and they provided a baby crib for our infant. The breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, with an amazing view of the city from the top floor. Location is excellent right by the seafood market. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us with booking a taxi, and when I left a bag of clothes in the room, they arranged to have it shipped to our next hotel in Tokyo and it arrived the following day.
    • Nice big rooms (Moderate Single). Excellent breakfast and staff service. Many choices for both Western and Japanese diets. Very understanding of dietary allergies. Excellent all you can drink happy hour at night. Great views from the same area.Decore in the rooms is a bit dated and getting into the bath, for a shower is a bit of a challenge but the size of the room and the views more than make up for it.

    Cons -

    • There is no manual control of room’s air conditioner. It was hot and stuffy. All the staff can do is provide fan, which helped a lot.
    • The parking entry is confusing at first. Need more instructions with pictures.
    • Reception on 16th Floor ?Says 24 hour restaurant- but there wasn’t.

The location is great, right opposite the famous seafood market.

The parking entry is confusing at first. Need more instructions with pictures.

Clean comfortable decent size room for 2 people. Quiet. Great location to everything. Very nice Chinese restaurant on 17th floor.

Reception on 16th Floor ?Says 24 hour restaurant- but there wasn’t.

    8MohamedPosted on: 6-19-2024

Breakfast was decent. Small area, thus not a long buffet table. But the egg station is personalized. They prepared a form to tick how you like your eggs done. And the waiter serve it to you. Surprised to see a coffee machine in the room. A small couch adds comfort to the room.

I wish there are more TV channels. The TV was wide for the room. Couldn't get the wifi started. The reception gave a password. But the online form ask for 'your last name' as password.

The location was great as we were able to walk to the castle, park and samurai village easily from the hotel. We enjoyed the TeamLab event at the castle one evening and enjoyed the walk back to the hotel. The breakfast was a buffet with a good selection.of salads, fruits and proteins. The Depachika in the store basement was also appreciated as we grabbed some lunch a couple of days.

Convenient parking and great location. Komatsu airport bus stop is in front of the hotel. The famous Omicho market is just across the street. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars hidden at the opposite side of the hotel.

When seeing the stain in the bath tub, I could not bathe in there. It was not the room keeper fault, the tub was just too old. It needs replacing, cleaning would not be much help.

Welcoming staff. Immaculate room. Great views over the city. Easy walk to train station.

Excellent choice of food at breakfast but the hot food was only lukewarm yet they were on hot plates - bacon and chips. Miso soup was excellent.

Great location. Walking distance to shopping and the major sites: Kenroku-en and Kanazawa Castle. Clean comfortable room, very helpful staff, wonderful views from the lounge on the 16th floor. All at a bargain price. Ideal choice for a two-night stay.

Skipped Brrakfast due to Earky depature.

Suddenly decided to leave early morning to get first Shinkansen to Tokyo. But to surprise, Reception was closed and kind of Blackout at night. Waited till 5'55am and finally found staff coming to reception. Missed first train and schedule. Please ensure to Inform reception in advance if you are planning for early morning checkout.

Great location. Right by transport and fish market

Outdated with few facilities. No restaurant and rooms tired. Take buikt up with calcium in bathroom. Needs an update. Come on holiday inn you could do so much better for this price. Room smelled of smoke

The hotel was a close walk from the railway station, and close to the key tourist attractions. The markets opposite the hotel, and basement food hall was a good source of food. Breakfast was good.

    1. The hotel room did not have a temperature control for the AirConditioning - and the room was uncomfortably hot, making for a very poor sleep. 2. There was a very large step up into the bathroom, and at night you have to be carful not to trip/fall. 3. The “all day” restaurant was only open for breakfast. 4. The rooms are quite small. 5. We had requested an upper floor, but a tour group was given priority and we were given the lowest level room. 6. I tried to upgrade the room, and pay the difference in cost but was told there was no rooms available- even though there appeared to be some on-line. 7, the rooms were old and could do with a refurbishment.

    Friendly staff, location was great

Older building and the bathroom stunk of mold, unsure if this is a hotel-wide issue or just our room.

    The situation, the confortable room

I have forgotten that the paid fare included breakfasts , I would have appreciated to be reminded by the hotel...

Location is good and staff are friendly and helpful.

Temperature of the air conditioning cannot be controlled. only hot air conditioning is available in March no matter what’s the outside temperature is. The windows also cannot be opened. Therefore the room is hot during my stay.

    9ChrisPosted on: 3-17-2023

Convenient location very close to a lot of popular sites and not too far from Kanazawa Station. My room was neat and comfortable, and the staff were great.

When i couldn't sleep well because the neighbours were so noisy until late hour, i called the receptionist. She immediately prepared another room, and then i could sleep peacefully in the new room?

There is only one microwave. Once i have to wait a bit long.

Did not stay because of issues with multiple rooms

First room had a terrible smell, so they moved us to a second room with less of a smell, however this room had no heating so they had to provided us with a portable heater which did not heat the room adequately. The rooms were also very dated and the furniture had lots of stains. The bathroom was stained and dated. We went to the Square Hotel a few minutes down the road which was modern, clean and had a good quality public baths with sauna.
