Hotel Kanazawa

Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our 2-week Japan trip. Large rooms, convenient onsite laundry, and friendly staff. It’s right opposite Kanazawa Station—only a 2-minute walk—which is very convenient when traveling via bullet train. There is also a bus stop by the station which makes getting to all the attractions easy.

Not much to complain about, but I wish they had more items on the breakfast menu

Super location, turn left when you get out from JR station. Very close! And the shopping mall is next to the hotel.

The twin room is small. The bed is lean to the wall. We didn’t get the room bigger as the image.High price during the Christmas and new year holiday

Location of this property was superb. It was raining when we got to this city but it’s less then 3 minutes from the train station so convenient. Has a mall right next door that has great food and shopping options was only here a night but it was great. The room is spacious and the beds have weighted duvets and pillows one of the best beds I’ve slept in and they give you a yukata to chill in

The tv is not a smart tv and has limited channels and even less in English. Made winding down for the night a bit difficult

The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help.The breakfast was delicious, with good variety and high quality???

Location was perfect. Great base to use to explore Kanazawa.

Unable to figure out how to cool the room so it always felt a bit stuffy. Vented the heat out the window which partially opens and the door to the hall for a bit to equalize the temperature.

We booked this hotel last minute to escape a hotel with a bug infestation and indifferent manager, and oh my god we are so grateful to them for providing us with the absolute OPPOSITE experience - they were ready for us despite booking only a couple hours prior, gave us a beautiful big room, and the location is also absolutely amazing as it's super convenient. Thank you guys so much.

Excellent breakfast. Good location. Helpful staff. Personal touch. Comfortable and clean room and facilities.

Upon arrival in Kanazawa we dropped our luggage in the hotel. We, definitely appropriate the service. Thank you. Excellent view from our big room. Extremely clean room, bathroom, with smart bidet. We entirely enjoyed our stay.

Nothing to complain about.

It is right in-front of the Kanazawa Station. I love the flexibility of the staff, they are very accommodating. The room was clean and worth the money. We did only 1 night stop as part of the whole Japan trip. It was easy to navigate, as everything is just nearby. The lobby was massive, alot of space for luggage storage. I love Kanazawa. Definitely will come back.

Perfect location, bus to the garden and castle 2 min walk (platform 5). Reasonably sized room with a big bath room. Possibility to leave luggage before check in to go explore the city. Bus to Shiakawa-go 5 min walk (other side of the station).At the station there is a great Tonkatsu restaurant.

We have stayed at this hotel on several different visits and were not disappointed this time. It's a great hotel within easy walking distance from the station. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet is great. Before we arrived we were informed of a school group would be occupying the same floor as ours and asking if it would be okay to relocate us. We said, "yes." Not only did they relocate us, but they upgraded our room type as well, which was an unexpected, but AWESOME surprise.

Friendly service, helpful staff, great location, clean and comfortable, decent sized rooms

No laundry machines or public bath

The location is perfect close to the train station and the hotel was easy to find. The room was comfortable and we liked the coffee / tea machine in the room with pods for making a hot drink. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby.

Very comfortable beds with two types of pillows. The bath fills up really fast and it’s fun to wear a yukata in the room. Free water bottles and green tea is a bonus! It was also nice and quiet to sleep.

Basic decorations. Would have been nice to have an onsen.

Convenient location. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful.

The bathroom was old and need to step up. Compare with the actual bedroom quality, the quality of the bath room wasn’t good.

Close to the train station, easy to find. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Location was great, good shower, bed was comfortable. Room was larger than expected.

Room temperature was too high, even when aircon unit was turned to lowest setting. Unable to switch air con on. Window opened slightly but lots of road noise so unable to keep open all night.
