Tmark City Hotel Kanazawa

The location was in a busy central location, but too far from the train station to walk. Nice walks along the river and plenty of restaurants close by, but most needed a reservation. Walkable to art centers and temples

Room a bit small

Location, location, location, and the friendliness of Tada and the other reception staff. The beds were really comfy and the view was amazing overlooking the river and mountains.

Prices skyrocketed due to the weekend to a point were they were tripled for no particular reason reason. It is irrational to charge (indicatively) $60/night and on Sat to charge $180 for one night.

Close to bus stations and popular tourist sites of Kanazawa, plenty of great restaurants, bars, bakeries, and conbinis near by, clean and spacious rooms, on-site laundry, vending machines, helpful and friendly staff

Good location to stay in Kanazawa. Hotel was modern and clean.

We couldn’t book breakfast because it was fully booked. But we found some nice coffees around too. So no big problem.

Location, cleanliness, and staff were very good.

Facility was a little older but maintained very well.

No complaint here, there was no issue occurring during our stay. We were a group of three and everyone was comfortable in the room provided.

The hotel seems to be quite new and as such everything felt clean and nice. Each room had dehumidifiers available which is always a plus for me. The location is quite busy at night but the rooms were outstandingly quiet. I liked this location, we basically walked everywhere.

The amenities were simple. It was perfect for what we needed and for the price we paid but, I don’t think this is a 3 star hotel. Maybe 2.5 if there is such a thing.

Great location. Comfortable beds, great air conditioner, room size was great, but Mr Tada is the reason we booked extra nights. He was warm and friendly to me and my mom. He made us feel welcome! Excellent representative for Tmark Hotels. Give that man a raise!

Room was very small for 2 people

It was very clean, and the staff were friendly, easy access to things, bus station right outside the front of the hotel. There was a fridge, and a nice deep tub. Great water pressure, and hot water immediately. Bed was actually a queen size, nice and wide, enough room to sleep two American people comfortably. Microwave was downstairs, and there wasn’t the option for laundry, wash only.

Rooms were a bit small, and there wasn’t a freezer. Laundry-wise, if you want your clothes fully dry, go to the 24hr laundry that’s a 4 min walk away.

We felt welcome. Location was excellent! Beds and room were comfy.

I wish there was a lounge to work in

The staff was amazing. They were k8nd and helpful!, especially Mr Kaoro Tada. Because of his k8ndness and happy demeanor, we extended our stay! Mr Tada is an asset to your company!

Good location, clean rooms, pleasurable staff.

Wonderful hotel! I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Our triple room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The neighborhood was great too, with plenty of restaurants nearby. I only wish we could have stayed an extra night or two, but unfortunately our schedule was very tight.

The place is a fine budget hotel with slightly upscale feel. It’s close to all the attractions.

There was a very large cockroach in my room, which I discovered late at night. Luckily, the staff let me switch rooms.

A great hotel to stay in Kanazawa. Everything you might need when travelling - very tasty breakfast - a bit small canteen. We recommend this place to everybody.

The breakfast was included, and it was all healthy and great tasting. The room was clean and the staff was very attentive.

The bathroom had a slight unpleasant odor, but everything else was very clean.

For the price, this is an amazing hotel. The location is great—it's definitely a bit of a walk, but that wasn’t an issue for me. You can also get a bus pass for just 800 yen. The room is sleek and stylish, and the view is fantastic.
