Hyatt Centric Kanazawa

The hotel is located close to the train station and shopping malls. It is also close to the fish market as well. The hotel room is also spacious.

The hotel has the services more similar to a 3 star hotel rather than a 4 star hotel. It does not have presence on the ground floor and makes it difficult to get a taxi. There is no formal reception desk or hotel lobby. The hotel management has hired fresh immigrant staff, most of whom do not have the level of training or politeness of the Japanese staff. Alot of the leather furniture in the breakfast hall is damaged and the leather is peeling off.

The hotel is just outside the train station but most of the attractions are on the other side of the station. A taxi station is outside the hotel. The room was excellent with good size. The staff was very helpful.

The breakfast buffet was huge but frankly it was too expensive compared to general food prices. There were no good options outside the hotel for food. Taxis needed to do a detour to get to the hotel from attractions on the other side of the train station

Great rooms, great location, and Kanazawa is a hidden gem. Rooms were large, layout excellent. Service was superb. The breakfast had a large selection of western food.

2 elevators, one to go from 1 to the lobby on the 3rd floor, and one to the rooms. Only 2 elevators from 1 to 3, often really crowded.Also, there was often a wait to be seated for the buffet breakfast.

The bidet’s seat temperature could not be adjusted. It was too hot and we had to wait till the next day for the staff to do something. Then it was totally off. I was surprised that Toto did not make the bidet seat temperature adjustable.

Staff was not as friendly as some other hotels that we have stayed. Not washing underwear and socks so I had to go to Hyatt House and do these myself.

The hotel fully exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very big and everything brand new. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was spectacular with the shower and tub combination and the restaurant was an amazing option for dinning with a great diverse menu. We did eat there for lunch and breakfast. This would be my top choice for whenever I come back. Very close to the train station but also very accesible to downtown and all the activities that the city has to offer. The sky bar is great and the drink selection is top notch.

They should have a full spa, from facials, massages, head spa etc.

Fantastic location for our needs! Clean hotel and friendly staff. We had a tour leaving from the group bus area at 7:50am, which is outside the front door of this hotel. It was very easy to get up, get ready and walk outside to our bus tour instead of having to navigate to the station and find our departure point. Additionally, the train stations here have EVERYTHING you need all in one place. Shopping, eating etc. We found it super easy to do it all there. We walked to the samurai houses and the gardens and castle. Super easy to get around. Made friends during our walk- which goes to show you how friendly everyone is!

Everything was exceptional.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. Loved the location near the train station. The station itself was beautiful and included many shops and restaurants. We also were able to walk to many nearby sights, and it was easy to use the loop bus from the station for spots that were a little too far to walk.

Comfortable bed, large room, excellent breakfast, great location.

The only thing we found disappointing was that there were no hooks to hang towels after taking a shower. Also the shower facilities set up were not comfortable. Awkward.

Great, somewhat funky hotel, smack-bang in the middle of town and close to all types of transport. If you exit the hotel, turn right and the right again at the first street, you will find an awesome izakaya about 50 metres along on the right. Best value for money Japanese pub food with a great atmosphere. We will be back to Kanazawa for sure.

The venue is right outside within walking distance from the train station west side.

Not many decent restaurants around. The hotel did not have a good Japanese restaurant.

Spacious & clean rooms

Front desk staff was not helpful. We stayed in the hotel to have local guidance and support with requests like making reservations, restaurant recommendations etc. and the staff was unable to assist. Regret not staying at a locally owned smaller hotel.
