Annie and the staff were fantastic. They met us at the office upon checkin and provided us with maps, suggestions for activities, restaurant advice and even booked us in for a fabulous dinner that night. We were able to text them with questions. Very hospitable and helpful.

Very quiet, 5 min ride from a nice sandy beach, lots of tiny one man show restaurants around. Ask for recommendations from the staff or use google.. Free bicycles downstairs - great safe area to ride

Breakfast is minimalHalf an hour car ride from the city center- this is to set your expectations right

The place was sparkling clean and the staff super accommodating. They recommended all local restaurants, nearby attractions, provided free bikes to use at will in the surroundings and checked in regularly with us to help us with every need. They also own/have deals with nearby bars. Much recommended!

The room was wide, the staff was very kind and always available, the breakfast was simple but we had all we needed. I recommend this place!

We loved our stay. Communication with Annie was super clear and the room was clean and beds were comfy. Sasa was extremely kind and generous and found us a lovely local sushi restaurant for dinner, drove us there and shouted us a delicious bottle of sake. We ended the night at the karaoke bar. Highly recommend staying there and doing day trips to Kanazawa and surrounds. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. They arranged the most wonderful restaurant reservation for us. We had some of the best food in Japan here!!! There is free use of an unseen ( although we didn’t get a chance to go. We heard from other guests that it was really good). A nice basic breakfast of toast and eggs in the canteen that get your started.

The host was fabulous. He took us to a sushi restaurant which only spoke Japanese and ordered exactly what we wanted plus sake. After he ordered he left and it was the most amazing dinner of the trip . I highly recommend staying here. The B&B was adorable. She had the main room decorated nicely. Thank you to our host.

The staff were fantastically helpful. They booked us dinner and even drove us to and from the restaurant, which is brilliant service from a small b&b. The rooms are small and the breakfast is basic but the rate is so reasonable that you wouldn't expect more. But with free bike hire and the wonderful service you really get a lot for your money. The little town of Mikawa is really very sweet and a trip to the free public onsen is, I'd say, a must.

Wonderfully welcomed at this B&B. It just so happened to be my birthday during our stay there and the owners went out of their way to make it as fun for me as possible. Really glad we picked that B&B. Highly recommended.

The stay was very good. Very clean rooms, convenient location with a 5min walk from the station. The owner is very friendly and invited us to his friends sushi place and to a local bar. He really went the extra mile to make sure we had a good experience from Japan, we appreciated it very much and it's one of our best memories from our trip to Japan! We highly recommend you stay here

The owner was great, he came to meet us and took us go a really authentic restaurant not far from the property. We had a great time. The room was big, fully functional and had everything we need. You’re close to the sea and in a less touristic area.

Staff is gentle, very friendly and really lovely. They guide you to activities, restaurant, karaoke ecc. hope to come back soon!

Such a warm welcome from the hosts - they helped us plan our stay in Mikawa showing us all of the activities on offer and really welcoming us to the town for the few days. Having heard we wanted to do a visit to Shirakawa-Go they immediately booked us into the tour which was a blessing as this secured us the final seats for the day. Both our room and the wider property felt very clean and a nice level of homely which we loved. I’m gluten free and they even ordered me some gf soy sauce to maximise our time in Japan which was such a sweet touch. The place is about 20min train (station is a 5 min walk from the accommodation) into Kanazawa. We throughly enjoyed being out of the business, close to the seaside with the most amazing fresh sushi locally and beautiful beach sunsets but also easy reach of Kanazawa. There are also bikes at the property which are free to use and make travelling around Mikawa very easy (reach the shops/ beach / local museum in a few mins ride). We loved our stay and thoroughly recommend if in the area or wanting a few days peace outside the city. Thank you very much!!

    Only good things to report!

Really kind and helpful hosts. It seemed they were very interested in making sure our stay was enjoyable. They made reservations for us at a very nice restaurant that we walked to (I believe the name was Goten). They were very responsive to requests.

Our room was small and poorly laid out, which just made it a little awkward moving around in it, especially getting in and out of bed when a ladder to the loft partially blocked the path. The supplied breakfast was extremely minimal - hard boiled egg, toast, coffee, juice.

So much to love about this place. Not too far the metro station, and they had bikes to ride around town on to get anywhere else. The hosts, Annie and Sasa, are lovely and very accommodating. We received a free room upgrade because Sasa wanted us to be more comfortable. Unreasonably good hospitality.

We loved the convenience of the place and the owners. They really are what makes this place special and fun to go. The village itself is quite charming.

    we just loved it!
