Hotel Mystays Kanazawa Castle

Good hotel with an onsen, pleasant stay. The location was good, a bit of a walk to the Kanazawa station.

The room was a bit small though. The bathtub was comparatively smaller

The room, quite spacious. The onsen. The lobby also spacious & has many seating area, you can take The amenities such as facial wash, lotion, and many more options at the lobby. Guests could drop the luggage before checkin / after checkout and it is secured enough because we have to fill the form about our luggage on their web & you should try the onsen .

The property is conveniently located near the station. The room is spacious, clean, and offers great value for money.

Room had very small walkways, needs hooks,bathroom so small. No place to sit to put on and off shoes. No place for 2 small suitcases.

Good hotel and the staff were friendly. The room was good for a budget hotel but very excavatable for the price point. Clean and tidy rooms and the room staff super friendly and funny I may add. All in all a great stay.

You had to look hard to find a good place to eat. I guess once you know you know. But for a first timer in Kanazawa a little bit hard to find places.

Cheap and centrally located. Great buffet breakfast with eastern and western options.

Facilities are dated. Visable/smellable mold issue in room 706. Each morning the elevator smelled heavily of body odor.

Location close to the station and the onsen were a plus. Breakfast buffet was good with both japanese and western options.

The rooms were a bit small, but ok for the price.

I found a pair of tweezers wrapped in the bath towel, and it had hair from someone’s private area on it. I almost used it on my head — this was extremely unhygienic and shocking.

Close to Kanazawa station, check-in was easy. The room was roomy, public bath was amazing. Close to restaurants and shopping.

Thought the public bath was great, felt it was a little outdated.

We stayed for 1 night. Lots of free amenities. The front desk staff was very nice and informative, also spoke good english. The beds were comfortable and room is spacious for us three. I like that each bed has its own charging port. They also have onsen though we didn’t get the chance to try it. Location wise, it is easy to find, close to Kanazawa station. There are also restaurants nearby.

The dryer didn’t dry our clothes and made it stinky so we had to use the laundromat nearby. That’s it.

They serve immaculate breakfast! It includes both - Japanese and Western foods, all delicious and fresh. Honestly, best breakfast I've had in Japan (they even had the raw egg for rice and natto). The hotel is in a great location and room was comfortable with big beds, mini fridge, safe, TV and counter with shelves, even though overall it was small-ish.

I was very upset to find out that the onsen is strictly prohibited to guests with tattoos, which was one of the main reasons why I booked it in the first place. Having said that, I do understand the historic reasoning, yet would've appreciated to have known about it in advance.

The location was great. We had a lovely room, plenty of space with armchairs and a coffee table. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like.

Onsen, Clean room and Great Location

Great location and it had an onsen, comfortable beds.

The bathroom in our room smelt very badly of drain and sewage. Had to keep the door closed. There were stains on the bedsheets.

Fantastic room, spacious and clean. Staff were super caring and helpful. One of my favorite places to stay.

Clean and comfortable room. The breakfast is excellent and a great way to try traditional Japanese foods. Good location close to the train station.

Big room, close to station. 3 beds, so its suitable for 3 people travel.

The onsen is in another building where you have to go through the outdoors. It was really cold during winter to have to go outside first in your pyjamas.
