Eco Lodge Mancora

Very cozy stay, beautiful and big room with a great bed, lovely pool and nice breakfast.

There are many things I really liked about EcoLodge! The aesthetic, the distance to the beach and town, the beautiful birds that would visit the tree, sharing a delicious breakfast with the other guests, but the host Vruno truly makes the place special. Warm and inviting and simply lovely! This is the presence that welcomes you, and it makes you want to stay.

A definite gem in Mancora. Very nice, clean, and safe, social vibe, the dorm room feels like a private room shared with new friends. Good breakfast, perfect for post-surf fuel. Short and safe walk to town and the surf. Vruno and his staff were super helpful and kind and showed great flexibility regarding early check-in/late check-out. Muchas gracias, nos vemos!

Room was really really nice. The whole design of the place is beautiful. Stuff was really helpful and attentive. Location is great, jusr 3 minutes walk from the beach.

Very chill and cosy armosphere?The host Bruno has exellent sense of humor and until this day we laught at something he sayd when remembering time there. Location was exellent for us after stayed three nights in the center this was what we needed. Location is in the center but feels like own village. Also the best cafes and restaurants are close by this place. We stayed in deluxe room and and it was big and cosy with outside shower. The price of a dorm but with all the facilities of a beautiful room. Mosquito nets, nice decor, quiet, clean, friendly staff, and a beautiful little pool. I definitely enjoyed my stay and would recommend to everyone. I will be back!;)

Everything was very clean and in good condition! This place has a fantastic vibe with lovely people! Also the breakfast was excellent.

I had a little misunderstanding with Bruno, who works there, about my arrival. I felt very uncomfortable at my arrival but then we figured everything out. He takes very good care of the Ecolodge and knows a lot of good places to eat and what to do!

Bruno is a wonderful host. Super welcoming and always helpful with tips and recommendations around Mancora. I would absolutely recommend Evo Lodge to anyone visiting.

Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Bruno is the good spirit of the place and an exceptional host. There is also a giant Iguana that sometimes chills at the pool.

Recommendation: Would be nice if accomodation provided water (at a charge). There is a market right next door, but plastic waste could be reduced this way

The architecture is precious, everything is always clean and guests are generally respectful. Bruno (the admin) is the best, 100/10 stars! ❤️

Vruno is super friendly and was always very helpful to organise activities. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned every day. The breakfast was amazing. The common area was really calm and it was really relaxing.

This place is a hidden paradise! Everything about it is wonderful. We stayed in both private room and a shared room and all the facilities were amazing, comfortable and very clean. Bruno is an amazing host and breakfast is delicious.

Everything was perfect

The accommodation itself is perfect - location, room, pool, breakfast are all great.

I didn't feel comfortable because of the manager. He gives lots of tips and asks how he can help, but he is very flirty with all women, which made me uncomfortable when talking to him. On my last day, I was alone with him in the hostel and he asked very private questions about my sex life and then approached me in the pool in an intrusive, completely inappropriate way and touched me. If I hadn't left after that anyway, I would have looked for another hostel because I no longer felt comfortable or safe there. I spoke to a local resident that same day who said that it wasn't the first time she had heard something like that about him.

The hotel is very conveniently placed: just a few streets away from the busy Main Street where tuktuk are honking but still very close that you just need a few minutes to be in the town center. The premises are simple and beautiful. The pool was very clean and we always had spots to relax by it. The room was spacious and beautiful, most importantly the bed was gigantic that we slept so well it was a dream come true. Breakfast was so tasty with eggs, avocado, tomato, great bread and fruit salad (better than many restaurant in Mancora or other cities we did) and prepared with care every morning. Late but not least, Vruno made sure we had everything we needed at all times to spend a wonderful stay here. Thank you so much ?

I had the nicest time at Eco Lodge. It is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Everything was very clean and tidy and it had a homey feel to it. The wifi also worked perfectly to work and hold my zoom meetings. Vruno was an amazing host, so kind and helpful. Thanks for having me, I hope to be back.

Quite not on the Main Street but close to a shop and local restaurants, 5 minutes from the beach.

We liked everything

Ecolodge is a great spot to spend time in Mancora. The place is peaceful, with plenty of space to relax and socialise/keep to yourself depending on what you want. The manager, Vruno, is fantastic and really adds to the stay. He was happy to help with anything we needed and keeps the energy in the place ticking over nicely. I'd strongly recommend this place to people visiting

This was an ideal place to recharge after a week of hiking down south. From the moment I entered, I felt super relaxed thanks to the beautiful architecture, comfortable beds, a ton of plants and lovely conversations with Vruno, Arelis, and a few other guests. A perfect balance of company and solitude, comfort and simplicity. 11/10 would recommend.
