Vidam Hotel Aracaju - Transamerica Collection

The employees are very helpful and they made us feel at home. My wife didn't speak Portuguese but they made sure to have someone who spoke English around to communicate with her.

The location was great. It was easy to walk to restaurants. The staff were fantastic & the breakfast was really something else. While we were there, they had a celebration of local artist, which was also really cool.

It seemed a little strange to me that they have a combination of premium services and facilities, but fret little things that North American travelers to premium hotels might not be accustomed to. These aren't a big deal, just didn't match with the way that other aspects really excelled. There's a towel tracking system, for instance. If you need a safety razor, they will sell you one. Again, none of these things detracted from the stay--it was just noteworthy given the high level of service in other aspects of the stay.

Noise. Pool fountains start early and make lots of noise. House keeping polishing floors with machine outside my room at 8am on a saturday....

I like everything about the hotel. Great location and very comfortable. Friendly staff! Too many screaming kids but it was Easter Weekend so I understand that. Still fun! Antonio is awesome!

The receptionist that helped us at check-in asked for a Brazilian ID even though I gave her my American passport. She told me that I was Brazilian and she needed that to be able to check my husband and I into the hotel…That never happened before, really strange. She was very condescending.

My stay in Vidam Hotel Aracaju was very good, the hotel facilities are very nice, room very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. The food is also very good and the location is excellent.

The only point I did not like it so much is the wifi internet connection, not very stable, some days it was ok but some others it was very bad, even for messaging and or checking emails.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. On check in we were received with a coconut water and the concierge explained everything to us and then showed us our room and the hotel facilities. Breakfast is unbelievable. They have a main pool on the ground floor and another pool plus 2 jacuzzis on the rooftop, where they also have a sauna. The hotel has a good gym, beauty saloon, spa, restaurant, everything you need.Staff are always smiling and ready to help. We absolutely loved this place.

If I had to say something I would say the furniture is a little old.

All staff very kind, great location, amazing breakfast, the relaxing pool area.

The toys room for children is kind of apart from the hotel itself. Although various types of toys, air conditioner, and beautiful lighting from the bulbs, it is quite suffocating to stay for a long period of time. But it was OK to entertain a bit our 2y old child.

Your receptionist was extremely awful I have left an email about how bad my experience was. I would never ever recommend your hotel to anyone !

I can’t say enough positive things about the hotel and the staff. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. They were attentive to our needs. The facility is clean and in excellent condition. The food was very good. This is a great place to stay when visiting beautiful Aracaju! We will definitely return on our next trip!

Aracaju unfortunately seems like a ghost town, beautiful beach and supporting infrastructures but almost completely empty. Nothing hotel related

Checking took long time 1 hour. The drinks at the bar took 40 min and I was the only client. The shower was clogged. The room had nothing special. I preferred when was a Radisson

The facilities were brand new, staff super friendly and the breakfast was amazing!

Bathroom had a leaking in the shower. Something that can be fixed quickly, and it won’t change my mind in choosing this hotel for the next time!

Nice size rooms, really great that they have some fruit and água de coco waiting for you in the room. Very classy

The water is heated by solar power, which doesn’t work great. In the morning the water would heat up at all, which really doesn’t work for such a highly rated hotel.
