Atali Grand Resort

Very pleasant, hardworking employees, the receptionists, the cleaning ladies and the restaurant staff. The food is tasty with a variety of choices.They offered me free spa massage - aromatherapy and face treatment and they were excellent. The resort also has a waterpark, and you can play basketball, football, tennis and ping pong.

The music from the organised nights ends around 23h and our room was quiet, facing the mountain. Although the room was small for three of us, and the bathroom needs to be renovated, overall I can say we had a relaxing, fun stay at this hotel.

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We also had a lovely sea view.We spent time relaxing around the swimming pool with it's view of the beautiful green hills.The food was exceptional - at all mealtimes there was a good variety of both traditional Greek dishes and international cuisine.All the staff were pleasant and friendly especially Αγυρώ who gave us a lovely warm welcome and was always extremely helpful.During our stay we both had an aromatherapy massage in the on site beauty salon. I can honestly say that it was one of the best I have ever had! We will be back Atali Grand!

Food was pretty good, a big selection however it was a little bit repetitive after a while. Blue cheese to keep close to the entrance without any cover every day was not the best idea due to the smell... Restaurant, Reception and Housekeeping staff was really friendly and helpful.

The French Animators from 9:30am until 11pm with loud music and an even louder microphone was way too loud and too much. I understand that some activity is needed, but a lot of people go for holidays to relax, not to hear every day the same songs from morning until late evening also shouting constantly into a microphone. We couldn't go to sleep early or wake up late due to the loud noise from the animators around the whole hotel! Not to mention that it was almost only in French, when there were guests from various countries. The building's exterior was highlighted with blue lights which looked great in the evening, but it was shining into the room every night until 00:30 (curtains didn't cover it). All inclusive bar was fully separated from the normal bar with only ouzo and rakija type of drinks, you would expect more selection (even if not from branded drinks).

We had a great 4 night stay at Atali Grand before we moved onto other areas of Crete! The room was a bit basic, but modern, clean and comfortable, just needed a couple of updates to make it perfect. We tried all the pools and all had all inclusive bars. The main pool was quite fun if you like music playing and activities. The pool across the road was very relaxed which we liked. We didn’t think we would use the waterpark but checked it out one morning and ended up staying the day there as was not too busy and had areas to sunbathe as well as use the slides. We were pleasantly surprised by the food at all meals and really happy with the range and Greek dishes available. The grill area where the pancakes/loukoumades for breakfast or grilled meat, fish and pizzas for lunch/dinner was a great addition. The drinks available on all inclusive does not include all spirits, you could get soft drinks, coffees/teas, ouzo/raki/brandy/mastika, beers and wines, which was fine for us. I had read not to go if English due to the French entertainment but this didn’t bother us as we don’t often attend hotel entertainment on holidays. However the French speaking entertainment staff were very friendly, inclusive and also spoke in English. We went to a couple of the evening entertainments and it was quite fun. The hotel was in a great location just a short walk to local shops, bars and tavernas. The bars on the beachfront are really nice if fancy a change. Close by to the little train stop which takes you round Bali and to the bus stop.

- The room could do with a couple of updates to improve. - it would be good if the outdoor al a carte bar also served all inclusive as often there’d be a queue at the all inclusive bar and a staff member at the other bar with no customers - some comfier seating at the outdoor bar overlooking the sea would be great - the room safe should be free

The food was delicious. There were variety of different types of food including seafood. The location is perfect, you are surrounded by the mountains and the sea. The water park is great and we had a lot of fun there (both adults). The staff was awesome, very pleasant (but not too much as typically in Turkey for example) and always ready to listen to you. We had an excellent experience with the coupe massage and so far it was the best massage ever!

Since the moment you walk in you are greeted in whe warmest way possible! We had such an incredible stay, from the room, to the location in Balíon to the incredible and tasty meals!I want to say a big thanks and also if you’re a couple or a family or group of friends looking for a resort I really think you should look no more :)

The ac in our room wasn’t good, I’m sure they can fix it!

It was immaculately clean, views were amazing as were the staff who worked really hard.

It was up a steep hill which we weren’t told about prior to booking.

Nice location near the beach. Good facilities including a swimming pool. Nice variety of food and beverages. Very friendly staff. Overall, very good value for money.

Much of the entertainment, though great, was mainly aimed at French people.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok, cleaned every day. Great location. Home-made pizza, lots of fresh fruits.

We stayed at a room on the forth floor with a see view. The experience wasn't nice at all as it is very close to the bar with lots of noise and very loud music and animation in French till 23:00 and later. We asked to change the room but a new one was available only in three days. It was much better, but the noise and music still were there. If you want a quiet and relaxing holiday, choose a different place to stay. The food was ok, but almost the same for a week and very fatty. Instant coffee.

I liked people working there

I sent a request for a quite room. The next to days there were disco party and dance party nearby and I couldn't sleep. The food was not tasty. A great amount of food but really hard to find a tasty meal. They just spoil food in great amount. I ended up eating in a tavern. The beverages were unbearable, chemical and absolute disgusting. Local alcohol of poor quality. I think there are better places to stay or just book a hotel without all-inclusive and enjoy perfect local food. Rooms are not sound proof, you hear ppl talking outside. If you are OK with eating and drinking trash, that is a place for you :)

There was no internet in the room.The family suits are not clean. Especially not the toilets. Roast and lime were on metallic surfaces. The Toilet was not clean either. When asking for shampoo products we got the answer that they are "out" and we should check the supermarket near the hotel.The water in the toilet had to be pushed with a window cleaner to the water drain (which was full all the time), Hence the Bathroom was permanently under water.Food:The drinks at the restaurant but also by the pool taste like low quality and the variety is very small.The Food was okey but the variety was the same. Basically the same food every day. Sometimes they changed the main menu to Asian, italian or Greek food. But 90% of the rest remained the same.Breakfast was good and fresh.Desert: Tasted like frozen products.Hence in one week, we skipped 3 meals and ate outside.

Despite the short stay, we appreciated the friendly personnel and very good breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and there is enough parking space at the hotel.

We were getting squeezed orange juice in all hotel breakfasts during the week and then here you must pay for it.

The location is amazing it is in the middle of the village everything is close the food is great the staff very friendly and fun the rooms are really beautiful overall it's one of if not the best hotel in bali. It also has a spa that i didnt get the time to make use of but next time i definitely will.

Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Amazing location, exceptional breakfast and most importantly very silent. Highly recommend!

The hotel is centrally located within walking distant to many shops as beaches (medical center & pharmacy at the entrance). The hotel is beautifully decorated and designed. The restaurant is overlooking Bali and the food is so tasty. Fantastic service from the friendly staff. Rooms were new and super comfortable (good wi-fi in the room for free).I highly recommend it to everyone.

things that can be improved: better labelling of the food (especially to differentiate for vegetarians, vegans etc), the quality of the coffee (for all inclusive there is instant coffee taste like - but if you would like a good coffee that’s 4euros extra which is kinda of the pricey side), soft drinks (I wasn’t a fan myself of the choices available- i only liked the traditional cretan tea and the water) again if you want a fresh orange juice you’ll have to pay extra 2.5euros (even for all inclusive- which is not expensive in comparison with other restaurants). all in all, even with these things that i mentioned that can be improved it was very good value for money and makes me wonder how this hotel makes a profit.

Food, room and service were all positive and left the hotel satisfied.

The shower very uncomfortable, need to change towels more often, no shampoo, no conditioner, shower gel bad quality.
