Dalabelos Estate - Traditional Agrotourism Complex

A unique property for travelers looking to get off the beaten path. The restaurant was superb- it tasted home cooked, was local specialties, and some of the best meals we had in Greece. The owners truly take the time to make sure guests are taken care of and the whole place was simply so peaceful.

All food was delicious, from the varied and plentiful breakfast to the wonderful dinners. Organic vegetables from their own farm and all food locally sourced and sustainable. The owners have strived to create somewhere exceptional to stay. Attention to detail is remarkable, from hand crafted bathrooms from local potters to very comfortable bedrooms. The buildings sit handsomely in the stunning landscape, and the pool area is one of the loveliest we have seen.

Beautiful property, the great balcony with view to the olive orchids and the sea. Great breeze. The food is so fresh and tasty. Directly from the garden. Vasilas and Maria are nice hospitals. We love the location in the mountain very close to Margarites.

The bed was comfortable but was attached to the wall.

Awesome estate, beautiful people, great food, perfect location to spend quit, peaceful time with your family, with Rethimno around the corner. Hope to visit soon again! :) (oh and almost forgot the beautiful views! And for the runners, the mountains in the area are not so steep for miles and miles and nog chasing dogs, also great for running long distances)

Dalabelos Estate is a hidden gem nestled in the hills that cannot be missed. A true sliver of Cretan hospitality, this property offers a peaceful escape to enjoy the beauty that is the island. The hosts welcome you like family and provide such a marvelous stay! We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful hotel up in the hills above Rethymno. Surrounded by olive tree orchards with a view of the sea. The majority of the food served is sourced from their farm - it was the most delicious food I had in Greece. I would definitely eat dinner here most days if you can. The village is very small and quiet. It's a perfect getaway if you want to avoid the touristy beach towns

If you want the beach/bar experience, it was 25 minute drive to the popular beach town of Rethymno. You definitely need a car rental to stay at this hotel.

Excellent location, excellent rooms/apartments, fantastic pool area. Home grown food was perfect and very friendly staff and management. Owner welcomed us at 04.00 in the morning to check us in after our flight was delayed. Highly recommended!
