Bali Star Resort Hotel

The room was cleaned daily, the bed was very comfortable, food was good, the location good with a nice beach where you could find a very nice restaurant serving delicious food.

Very kid-friendly hotel, staff and the location are exceptional! Fotini runs a tight ship and is very warm, understanding and accommodating, Xrista was also very helpful and friendly: kept our luggage before and after check-in/out and arranged our move-in early.The location is 70 meters from the beach, a few restaurants (Mambo is head and shoulders above the rest) and walking distance to the Main Street.

Breakfast and dinner buffet: our reservation had a complimentary breakfast buffet, otherwise I wouldn’t have purchased: trivial, bland and repetitive. There are no laundry facility and the one public laundromat Xrista recommended was never available- considerable inconvenience when traveling with kids. I had to do 3 sink-loads by hand and dry on the balcony, but not a deal- breaker.

Great staff, excellent room (we had the best room in the house, the penthouse with the private pool), amazing views of the beach.

They could variate the breakfast n dinner menu a bit, it's the same every day.

The atmosphere, food, pool, balconies, THE STAGF, the view the beach the village all of it was an incredible contribution to the trick of a lifetime!!

Premium location next to the Bali beach. The buffet breakfast is very good. We came to the hotel at 10:30 and our room was ready - this was extremely helpful after sleepless night. Mambo taverna across the street serves very good food - cretean dishes and beyond.

Internet could be faster. Pillows can be bigger. Small points to improve. In general, the hotel can be recommended to everyone.

The hotel is really close to a sandy beach and located in a very convenient location, with plenty shops and restaurants around. The buffet at breakfast and dinner is pretty good with plenty choices and good quality. The staff at the restaurant, especially the boys, are always helpful, polite and smiley. Please, make sure to pass our thanks to them. The room is big enough for a family of three.

We liked our stays (6 nights) but we think that there is some space for improvements and that some information needs to be better clarified since they can be misleading (sun-beds and umbrellas at the beach are not included and you need to pay extra; the price of some drinks such as sparkling water -5 euros for one litre bottle - are not listed in the menu). This is a small scale resort (that’s why we liked it), but it didn’t truly felt as a 4 stars resort. Plants and trees are well maintained but the grass next to the restaurant isn’t really in good shape. Also, a small playground for children, with just a few things, would be highly beneficial to those family with small children who need a space to let them play for a bit.

Great location and good view over the sea. The room is literally above the beach - cannot get any closer. The staff is very helpful.

The hotel itself is perfectly made for the comfort of all visitors: breakfast and lunch are served fresh, the location is close to many great tavernas such as Mambo, Galini etc. There are rooms with private swimming pools and ones with shared pools suitable for different budgets and the reception is very friendly, patient and helpful.

Everything was great in the hotel so there is nothing that I did not like. Excellent place with excellent surroundings. You will be happy to spend your holiday here and enjoy the truly special experience.

Water park inside the sea just next to the hotel

The hotel is not on the first line,sea view of the room has no sea on it.very first touch with the owner or the manager was very disappointing to me and my family.Didn’t try to find any solution of the problem we had ,but instead of that was root.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large balcony and excellent sea views. It was a short walk to the breakfast dining area and the breakfast choices were very good. It was also a very short walk to the beach and Mambo's which was an excellent restaurant overlooking the beach. I would definitely stay here again. A taxi from Heraklion to Bali cost about Euros70 and took about 45 minutes.

It’s perfectly located and has a warm, welcoming vibe like a mini resort.

Not much not to like. The superior room was a little dated but it was spacious and you have the option to go for a newer room for only a little extra

Breakfast was excellent. Was upgraded to a room with private pool which was very private and convenient. Room was big and hotel close to beach and nice tavernas.

I liked the staff, in hepled if the help was needed.We had rooms with sea view and it was located on the 2 nd floor, roof had nice green grass, which our kid enjoyed.Liked the breakfast.

Our room with sea view was spacious and very nice, the a bit more expensive rooms are worth the money. We were glad we didn't book a room with shared pool, because we found out, those would lack a bit of privacy. We had a room in the floor above the pool rooms which was perfect. All staff is very welcoming and friendly, except the reception desk lady.

We found and killed several cockroaches inside our room, 7 in total. The door handle of the shower was almost entirely covered in rust. Coffee mugs had lipstick marks, when we arrived. We had a used tissue and an empty tube of lip balm under our bed when we checked in. This remained there, the whole week. We tipped generously for cleaning, but they don't seem to clean under beds... The room was dusty. The mattress was very worn and should be replaced.The lady at the reception was gruff at the checkin, did not welcome us, didn't explain or ask anything and just ordered us to pay some tax in cash. The checkout was pretty similar, she didn't even ask if everything was good. Guess she hates her job pretty much.

Great location, accommodating and really friendly staff, clean room, tasty food and great variety of it, really nice and well taken care of property

Food labels during meals could be more descriptive at times (eg dish labeled as potatoes had also meat in it - it makes it sometimes harder to understand which dishes are suitable for vegetarians/vegans)

We received a free upgrade and stayed in a beautiful room with sea view. These rooms are in a separate building and look great! Besides the food was very nice.

The location is accesible to the beach, shops and restaurants. Breakfast is nice and the staffs are very helpful especially with the receptionists when we were checking out and helping us chasing up our taxi in the early morning. Akso, the massage was relaxing

The lift did not work the 1st time we arrived so we needed to carry our lugages though it's just a floor up. The aircon broke down for a night and can't be fix immediately so we asked for a fan and opened the balcony door overnight.Then the light on the pool was not working at night, we mentioned it to the receptionist lady and said it's not a problem right now?

Beautiful resort hotel! Extremely clean! Steps from the beach! Awesome breakfast! Spa on site. Staff was friendly and helpful! Loved our stay here! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely convenient and relaxing with beach and restaurants only a stone throw away.

Nothing to not like about it. Staff, food, weather all 10/10.
