Very clean, convenient and helpful front desk staff. Was a good basic hotel with the right price, exactly what we needed. Great location to get up and catch ferry to other islands.

I was very impressed by how helpful the staff was

Quite difficult to locate accurately on goggle maps.

We stayed here after staying elsewhere in Crete so we could catch the early ferry to Kárpathos. It did what we needed it to do and the staff were friendly

It’s a bit dated but didn’t bother us as we were only there overnight

although arrived on late flight. All information was sent on how to access the hotel and room.

The room was comfy, but it had no natural light. The bathroom had a high step in shower, which would be difficult for some.

Close to the ferry. Clean. Fine if you get in late and run for the ferry the next morning but not the place for a stay in historic town.

Misrepresented on booking.com—“port view” was across from a gas station on a busy road. Have to pay for breakfast. Staff were very pleasant but not that interested in helping tourists. Rooms were tiny. Beds slid on the floor so you could sit up on them. Mattresses were hard. Price was higher than places in the historic town.

Super convenient location to the bus station and port. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to a great local restaurant.

Beds kept slipping on the floor tiles.

Room a little small but apart from that everything was perfect

The location was great having a short stay arriving by bus and leaving by boat I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go.

The room is basic which is what you pay for but the shower was broken so had to be hand held and the space was very small. The sensor lights are a bit delayed and probably need to activate when someone is on the stairs not once they’re outside the rooms.

Very convenient for early ferries. Lovely host and clean modern hotel, with very good WiFi.

They left good instructions for gaining access as we were arriving late.The host(s) were nice and helpful.

Best location for Heraklion bus station as it is only a two minute walk away. Best location also for Heraklion Port and Seajet being about a four minute walk away for those. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception! Thanks guys!

Location and air conditioning. Staff were excellent

Furniture and upholstery tired and bathroom old fashioned and small. Carpets seem old and well used

The owner stayed for us until we arrived.We were easily given a solution for difficulties, and good communication until we arrived.

The room was small and one bed was a sofa and it wasn't mentioned. Very small air condition unit, that took time to cool the room.

Was in a good location for us to catch our early morning ferry to Santorini. Had a huge balcony.

There were security cameras on the balcony

Nice and simple hotel, everything you need. Good location from airport, stop over here and go for next island from port.

Did not have breakfast. Location is PERFECT if you’re departing to Ferry boat to another island. Walkable distance to port - less than 5 minutes .Heracles was wonderful! Very helpful and kind.

The exterior of Hotel could have had better curb appeal. When I first saw it from the exterior , my first thought was, “OMG!!! This looks awful!” Once we entered the hotel we were pleasantly surprised how nice and acceptable on the inside

The host was fantastic. He was welcoming ,had some great advice, and had a good sense of humor. I liked that they thought about the environment.

For me the location is ideal because it's very near the Bus Station and the Harbour. The airport bus stop is just across the street from the bus station, so staying at City Life makes all transport issues simple.The staff were super friendly and helpful. I didn't opt for breakfast so I can't tell you about it.

The room was small and the window looked out on a dingy little area. Maybe other rooms have better views.
