Casa Blu Boutique Hotel "by Checkin" Adults Only

It is a beautiful boutique hotel located in the wonderful town of Pskipiano. Right around the corner from the hotel was a street full of wonderful Greek restaurants and places to relax and enjoy a drink. There is also a fun Irish pub if you want a little more action. The entire staff was very welcoming and attentive. Dimitris was excellent at communicating before the stay and went above and beyond to arrange transportation from the port and other services.

Saving sunbeds

From a location, this is probably one of the best places I have stayed in. It’s within walking distance of two other villages and the main town and beach. The staff are so helpful they go above and beyond. We didn’t meet one person that wasn’t nice to us throughout the holiday. The pools were lovely, sunbeds comfortable and the rooms were modern and immaculate. The WiFi was brilliant throughout the hotel and in our room.

Just had a week at casa blu. Could not fault the place. Ideal location and great views. All of the staff were amazing friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Overall a superb place to stay.

A beautifully presented property. We had a suite with a private swimming pool. It was wonderful. Staff were exceptional especially Earny (spelt phonetically & it will not be correct spelling…). I have never met anyone in hospitality with such a warm personality.

There is no elevator. This however was not an issue as staff took our bags up and down the stairs. The wifi speed was disappointing. It was unusable. Not acceptable in this modern age. Coupled with the appalling cellular speed/coverage in Greece in general we virtually had no comms.

Can’t fault our stay at Casa Blu at all. It was our honeymoon so we were a bit sceptical about it being perfect but we needn’t worry as it really was perfect. We stayed in the room with a private pool and balcony and it was paradise. The staff can’t do enough for you and really make your stay exactly what you want it to be. We’ll definitely be back.

The hotel was excellent. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff, everyone was keen to help from the reception staff, bar staff, cleaners and the owner. It was a lovely size, we had a room with a private pool which was amazing but also went to the main pool area where there were plenty of sunbeds and lots of room. A good size hotel and easy walking distance to the many tavernas in the villages as well as a walk down to the beach. There were planted and green areas which made all the views wonderful. Very clean all the time and the breakfast was amazing, gluten free options including bread provided and a variety of fruits, cereals, cakes and hot breakfast. Lunch was also delicious.

We loved staying at Casa Blu and would highly recommend it. The staff was outstanding, the pools were delightful, the location was great, the room was comfortable with a nice balcony with a view of the Mediterranean, and the price was a great value for the money.

Responsive staff. Nice bed. If you’ve find to sit in a pool chair and read trashy novels, you didn’t have to come to Crete. But you can do it here and work on your tan.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. It's modern and spacious rooms overlooking Hersonnisos and the sea. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful.

Very clean and modern property. Simple check-in with staff waiting on arrival and arranged transport from Heraklion Port for us. Staff treat you like family, special shout out to Terry, Ernie and Giorgios for looking after us during our stay. Nice pool and always enough sunbeds to accommodate. Breakfast was good with good selection and the food off the menu at lunch was as good as any restaurant you would go to.

Outstanding rooms, two good-sized pools & most importantly, the hospitality provided by the staff was exemplary. The breakfasts & lunches were also delicious.

It was further from the beach than we’d expected from the description and pictures. I realise it would mean employing even more staff but it’s a shame they don’t provide dinners (it’s a bar service only after 4 pm).

Lovely breakfast and always filling up the dishes. Plates etc cleared away quickly with a cheerful smile. The location is superb close to many restaurants in the village.

Casa Blu was a small and friendly modern Hotel. With lovely views out to see and the hills in the other direction.Large room with a modern bathroom area,seating,big bed and a fabulous dressing table/mini bar.

Absolute perfection... everything exceeded our expectations.The staff and owners were amazing - it felt like coming home. Nothing was too much trouble and Dimitris on reception went over and above sorting out rescheduling transport and arranging extra night for us when the airport closed due to flooding just as we were about to leave! Thank you so much xxGiorgos and the team at the bar and breakfast were amazing - and apologies that I didn't get everyones name.Our room (302) was just perfect and beautifully clean - and our wonderful housekeeper kept it immaculate during our stay.It was refreshing to see the owner Dimitris and his wife working in the hotel and mingling with guests, making sure that we were all enjoying ourselves. And it was also wonderful to hear that the staff enjoyed working at the hotel. I happened to mention one night that the hotel was beautiful, to be told by a staff member that the owners were 'more beautiful'. Having travelled the globe for over 30 years, we rarely see a hotel owner and have never heard such high praise. Dimitris, keep it up... your attitude towards your staff and guests makes this place what it is, an absolute gem.Thank you all so much and we are looking forward to seeing you again next year xx

Perfect in every way. Had one of the rooms with a private pool and it was amazing. Great breakfast, lovely staff, lots of tavernas nearby. I want to go back there and will recommend it to family and friends.

A nice small hotel in a cosy small village with great restaurants serving local food. The staff was really friendly, positive and helpful. Decent breakfast. Nice view.

Quality of materials and interior design slightly better on the photos than in reality (compared to other new hotels in the area). Not that it had any impact on my short stay in the hotel, but I was really hoping that the "sunbed reserving egocentric mass tourists" had not made it to small boutique hotels yet, but I was wrong. Be aware :) - they had discovered that hotel already sending their "ambassadors" to reserve sun beds for their whole party by the pool at 6am like it was the most important thing in the World. :) Amusing yet somewhat disturbing display of narcissistic behaviour.
