We liked the different pools

Did not like how we had to eat buffet food for every meal apart from one in 7 days. This was not clear when booking. Very disappointing to only have the option to book one a la cart in 7 days

Family-friendly, good quality buffet, fun and clean water park with snack bar (inclusive), small but nice calm beach, water sports available, great and wide oceanfront views from the breakfast buffet, nice and large lobby with plenty of seating options, in-house atm machine, spa and souvenir shop inside and across fromhotel, numerous pools and several themed restaurants, peaceful and clean location (within a village and in a nice part of Crete), inclusive snack bars at the water park and beach area, great landscaping and clean surroundings, great staff (kuddos to the Filipino crew and to wonderful Eleni, and the guys who assisted us with the luggage-sorry can’t remember all the names).

Dated and secluded rooms with no view and has a small bathroom. Size was quite good though. Unfortunately, we felt the rooms assigned to us were not reciprocal to the amount we paid. The absence of buggy service to take guests from the aqua park to the beach area is also a downside as they are on opposite ends of the resort and could be quite a walk. The shoreline is wide, but mostly rocky, so not ideal for swimming. However, there are lots of loungers for sunbathing along this part. The “swimmable” beach is small and can get crowded at peak hours, so not relaxing. You will have to wait for off-peak to actually get a lounger.

Outdated and Overpriced!

Very outdated hotel. The rooms feel old and definitely not luxurious for the price paid. If you only need a place to sleep, it’s fine but if you care about aesthetics, comfort, luxury and getting real value for your hard-earned money, this is not the place, avoid it! The soft drinks and beverages are also of very poor quality, ruined my whole vacation in Greece!

Friendly staff, clean facilities.apartment suited perfectly our needs with a beautiful view of the sea.choice of multiple restaurants which cater to all dietary requirements- good food. Service provided by staff was very professional.reception staff gave good recommendations for short day trips .

There was nothing to dislike

It was our first experience with the All Inclusive vacation and we are super happy we chose the Grecotel resort.We enjoyed the delicious and varied food, we didn't miss a single meal without an excellent Greek salad.The staff is always kind and smiling and it's fun to walk around the resort - everything is very beautiful and well-kept.Every request or small problem we had was answered by the staff very quickly.We were surprised by the size of the room, which included two separate rooms and a balcony.We had a great experience

The water in the water park was very cold and at the end of the season this is especially noticeable.

Family friendly, water park was a big plus.

The service and food was average.

We enjoyed our time here. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms could be a bit better but they do the job just fine. The food is diverse enough for an all inclusive hotel. We enjoyed the a la carte restaurant(we liked the greek one the best and the Antikristo barbecue) Nice small beachThe hotel offers a dine out experience at “the Captain tavern”, at the village near by, the food was good and the village was nice tooOverall we really had a good time

Heaven for parents and children alike. The all inclusive included all day dining and drinks. The rooms were cleaned daily and very spacious. Everything was targeted at families with small children- there were no environmental hazards or breakable statues/plants/glassware laying about, kids could roam around and just be kids without having to worry about the other guests (because they all had kids too!).

The all inclusive dinner option was only one restaurant. Could have done with another option to mix things up a bit! That said, the one restaurant was excellent so we barely cared.

Location, food, staff and facilities are top notch for the price. Best for families with kids younger than 14-15yo. Hotel offers transportation to and from airport, which is also very professional and comfortable (we chose a van: 7 seater)

Beds could have been more comfortable. Transportation to and from airport could have been a little cheaper?

A great place to go with your kids! They paid attention to the details. They brought a cake to our room for our son's birthday without us asking. Added a guardrail for the bottom bunk without us asking after seeing we put a blanket at the edge. The food was quite good for an all-inclusive and the Asian restaurant was our favorite. Great activities for the kids and plenty of pools and lounge chairs.

Honestly all around good!

The buffet had a great selection of food and lots of restaurants and options to choose from. The staff were absolutely wonderful and really went above and beyond. The beach was lovely and everything on the resort was really easily accessible. I also really loved that unlike other resorts, the staff monitored the lounge chairs by the pools and would remove towels that had not been used in a few hours.

The bed and pillows weren't super comfortable. Rooms were a bit outdated. Towel exchange was a bit annoying.

Our kids would say this was their favorite hotel because of the water park, pools and buffet. They loved everything about it. The room we had was lovely, it was a sea view and we were upgraded to have a private hot tub which was lovely. The staff was wonderful and attentive and the resort is well maintained.

How the all inclusive works with the restaurants is not what I have experienced at other all inclusive resorts and its a bit misleading. You can only have one reservation at a restaurant (not buffet), if you want to more often its a charge of $30 for each adult and $15 for kids. Our kids loved the buffet but we didn't love it, it was good not great. We walked into town a couple of nights and had amazing dinners. The beach was a bit rough and seaweed covered, this was our third trip to Greece and the beaches on Crete we not our favorites.

Amazing stay, really enjoyed it. Food was tasty, lots of options available, different restaurants. Room very comfortable, AC worked spotless. Checkin/checkout experience very good. They let yu stay in the hotel after checkout and eat even if your flight is at night.Pool chairs very comfortable. Always chairs available at the beach or pools, they come and free the chairs if there are towels just sitting them for hours so people don't keep them occupied all day while they are taking a nap.Lots of things to do: aqua park, disco, inflatable tobogan, volleyball/soccer courts, water sports (non motorized free, motorized paid).Breathtaking views from lots of places inside the hotel. If you stay for 7 nights you can book 1 a la carte restaurant for free. Some a la carte restaurants are actually buffets. Across the hotel you can book activities if you want to travel outside the hotel + massages that are cheaper than at the spa + a shop that is cheaper than the hotel one.

Beach is a bit small, but there are lots of chairs facing the beach at a higher level.The bbq restaurant (a la carte) has limited options, don't recommend you go there, but it does have amazing views. You can just walk bye at night and use your a la carte option somewhere else.

The beach is wonderful- sandy and with crystal clear water. Sunbeds and parasols are free of charge. Also, it is great that by the beach and by the pools, there are bars where you can grab a drink or some snack. The food in the restaurants is of great variety and tasty. I believe everyone can find something they like. Clean rooms and free beach towels. Also, it is possible to stay in the hotel after you check out (until 5 pm) and you can still use all facilities for free. It was really valuable for us since we had a late night flight. Really loved our stay!

The bed was a bit uncomfortable- too soft for my taste.

The food is mediocre (well its a 4 star but still) not much of a selection to a non pork/pig meat eaters.The rooms are a little out dated with cracks in the balcony walls

I think it was the greatest accommodation we ever had as a family of 4. I booked a family room with sea view and everything was absolutely perfect. The size of the room in general but specifically the separate room for the kids, the sea view that was breathtaking, the facilities they offer, how clean it was, the friendly-helpful staff and last but not least the variety you have to choose from when it comes to food. Also a big + the aqua park and the everyday activities (for kids as well).

Great for kids, excellent facilities for sport, the food was authentic Cretan and delicious, lots of space to relax, Easter celebrations and bbq was unforgettable

The room could be made more cosy

We had a sea view family bungalow room which was great and the view was gorgeous. The all inclusive element was excellent - quality and choice of food was outstanding. Kids activities were great. Choice of 3 pools. Very family friendly.

No kids club or activities on a Sunday- surely with more animation staff and a better rota, this would be easy to chance?!

Perfect stay for family and kids 3 & 6yrs. Staff very attentive, room was great and pools and aqua park were very nice. Food great. Kids club also and night entertainment was fun. Couldn’t ask for better really!
