Irini Hotel

Location was great, arrived on early morning bus so bag storage & early check-in was appreciated, walking distance from bus, port & old town centre sites, helpful reception, very good breakfast, good affordable option for a night

Only the common corridor carpets are showing wear … perhaps due to end of season

Perfect location, walking distance from the port and city center, there is a supermarket directly across the street. the room was excellent size and there was a porch. very happy with the hotel selection. We had a small issue on the day of arrival (losing an item on the way) and the staff went out of their way to try to assist us in making phone calls and retreiving the item.

Central location, south balcony, quiet room, comfy bed, excellent continental breakfast.Close walk water front with historical site, close to a lot of good restaurants, the neighbourhood had a good vibe

Bathroom needs updating. Shower had low water pressure.

Good location for old town centre, parking and ferry port. We had a family room with sea view for 1 night. The staff were friendly and it was a good practical choice for our needs.

Excellent location. Amazing stuff, super helpful people. Clean rooms, big balcony, AC, TV and a good bathroom. Bed and pillow were better than other places we stayed. Coffee was surprisingly good.

Nothing really. The breakfast was just fine for me but some people may expect some warm food so really very subjective.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Irini Hotel. My friend and I spent two nights there (one at the beginning of our Greece trip and one at the end). The staff members that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as it's basically in the heart of Heraklion.

The breakfast was a bit basic and could use a bit more variety.

We arrived in Heraklion at midnight and the hotel we thought we had two nights reservation we discovered it was only one night booked. We arrived at that hotel only to find the doors locked and noone at the front desk to help us. We went on booking.com and found Irini hotel only two blocks away with a room available at a very reasonable price and the doors were open and a very helpful gentleman at the front desk. Thank you Irini Hotel for rescueing us! Also this hotel is walking distance to the city center, which is so convenient. The room was very clean and nice.

The hotel is in a good area, with plenty of restaurants just a block away. Breakfast was a European breakfast, with a good variety of options to choose from. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite small for a family of four , dated and could use some renovation. Overall, the location and breakfast were positives, but the accommodations fell short of expectations.

Very poor and hot

The mattress was very lumpy. The air conditioner shut off when you left the room, so you came back to a sauna.

The staff when we arrived was very nice. Centrally located, good breakfast.

You cannot beat the location. Just block from the center square and the port where we walked for several excursions. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It’s not fancy but I found it comfortable, clean, nice breakfast and helpful staff. 100% stating there again. I am as there with my 2 teenager and I requested .the 3 single bed option, which I got - very comfortable.

Located close to harbor and shopping in Old Town. Very nice breakfast buffet. Beds were comfortable.

Bathrooms were very small but clean and suitable for a short stay.
