- The meals were good, rooms were comfortable and swimming pool awesome for the hot conditions we had. Rashid, Veronica and the rest of the staff were FANTASTIC and the service was excellent! They even arranged for a nice dinner with fresh fish on the beach together with our new French friends Corwin and Melissa! You cannot ask for better than this. We are extremely happy with our stay at Menai.
- Breakfast was fine, advertised yogurt but none available. Fantastic location by sea, but tidal so at low tide was a long way to water. Local fishing village very interesting, did great snorkeling on day trips with Omary. Bushbabies live in the gardens.

- The swimming pool out of action initially. Lack of local restaurants to provide a change from the resort one
