Set in a tropical garden on the North West coast of Zanzibar, Flame Tree Cottages offers accommodations on Nungwi Beach. It features a tropical garden with swimming pool. All rooms have private bathrooms and shower, mosquito netted beds, air conditioning units, refrigerator, electric kettle, fan, hot and cold water and spacious veranda where breakfast is served. Local specialties and International cuisine are served in the garden restaurant. Yoga classes as well as massages can be arranged for a surcharge. Morning Yoga is held in the Yoga Pavilion facing the sea and sunset yoga is on the rooftop terrace facing the Indian Ocean. Mnemba Atoll Marine Park can be reached within 1 hour by boat. Kisauni Airport is 1 hour away.

- The location was fantastic, straight onto white sand and clear blue sea beaches! The staff were extremely attentive and polite. We enjoyed the private beach area by the hotel bar as you could relax there without being bothered by vendors on the beach. The view was gorgeous. Our little cottage was always clean and comfortable. We enjoyed waking up in paradise each morning. Would love to return to flame tree cottages. You can also snorkel from the beach outside the hotel if you bring your own snorkel gear. We saw lots of starfish here
