After experiencing miles of terrible Turkish architecture, this was a real gem in the middle of the University District of Bornova, a suburb of Izmir. A beautiful garden and porch surround this traditional Ottoman villa with an outdoor seating area and dining area with a brazier to keep you warm. We had an enormous room with a huge bed and an amazingly comfortable mattress, nice bed linen and a modern power shower. The staff were very nice and welcoming.

Nice cozy hotel with good staff and convenient location, nice restaurant as well, very nice inner garden, would be better in good warm weather

There is no curtain or blinds to separate bath area from the room

Thé historical nature of the property & surrounds in Bornova

The staff were lacking in professionalism, clearly not trained in hospitality. The young woman in reception , was polite upon checkin but later in the day shoved passed me . As a 67 year old well groomed woman I am unused to what I consider the height of rudeness . Restaurant staff seem inexperienced also

Consept, design, location, restaurant, everything about this facility is exeptional. We stayed before and we choosed to stay again.

The room we stayed was at the end of the alleyway, and there was one more door opening to the room which was locked permanetly by the management. Who ever walk or talk near by that door you could hear. I would never stay in that room again but all other things beside that was extra ordinary.

The look of the hotel was really nice, but it is sad that the hotel is not restored / kept in a good state (mold in the bathroom, broken tiles and broken rain shower). It’s sad to think that the hotel will be dilapidated in a few years (unless they renovate and fix the place). Breakfast is good!

There were (multiple) weddings each night of our stay (Saturday, Sunday). There was loud music until 00:00 and we had to walk through the wedding party in order to get to our room. The hotel did not inform us about this which is unpleasant if you want to sleep early / get up early. This is why I am mentioning this in the review. Everything was cleaned up very well after each wedding.

It was really great, everything they have was exeptional. Appreciate for having us as guests. Breakfast was also amazing. Eventough we missed the breakfast time, they wouldnt bother giving us free breakfast. Thanks again.

We choosed the room because of jacuzzi, but ee couldnt enjoy. Anytime we runned the motor it was pumping out the water with some dirt inside. I guess it wasnt used for a long time before we use it.

The location was good for my needs.

The hotel was not like 4 stars but bed and breakfast level service quality.
