People at the Réception desk were polite, friendly, attentive to our needs. They provided us with a packed breakfast for our early morning trip.

On the 5th floor there was intermittent supply of hot water through the shower.

We like the room and location being in the center.

Breakfast: 6:30-8:30 am was really a short time for guests to enjoy breakfast. And not only the selection, but quantity was also limited. It was one of the worst breakfast experience on my one month trip in south America! Really ? disappointing.

Very good hotel. There was always hot water and also it was possible to use heating in the room. Also the location is great.

    8MichellePosted on: 4-4-2025

The location was great, a block away from the main square. The breakfast was fresh with a wide variety of options.

We asked for a late check-out (one hour later) and were told it was no issue. Then the front desk called and told us we would be charged half the room rate so we quickly checked out. Better communication from the front desk staff would have been appreciated.

We were given a very spacious room. The staff of the hotel were very friendly and professional. The location was very central.

Centrally located with only 5 min walk to the plaza.

Poor wifi and not even working in the lobby and the explanation is it’s raining. The restaurant next to it has great wifi though.

We encountered a delay and arrived in Puno a day later than planned (in the morning instead of the previous evening). The hotel staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating—they allowed us to have breakfast and even applied a discount to our room rate (the delay was due to protests in the country that caused the cancellation of our scheduled bus). The breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location was ideal for exploring Puno and the Lake Titicaca region. An excellent choice overall!

The only slight drawback was a foul odor in the bathroom, likely from the drains. It wasn’t a major issue, but it might be worth looking into.

Great location within easy walking distance of central plaza, museums and restaurants. Lovely room with heater and great shower. Good variety for breakfast and staff very helpful.

The altitude was a bit of a constraint for us.

good location and good breakfast options, the staff gave us a bigger heater when we askedelevator in the hotel and laundry service but expensive..tea, hot water, microwave available at the lobby.security guard/ doorman of hotel was nice and made sure we were okay whenever we were at the lobby or restaurant . i hope he gets recognition for this.

the room was way too cold even with the heater on, also the laundry service was expensive and not too good- didn’t smell like soap and returned to us late at night instead of 3pm as they said.the heater for bedroom was too small so we had to ask for another one

Internet in room 402 was not reachable ! Not possible to work online! And that room was very noisy ! I booked through booking ! I hope that they don’t give the no iciest rooms to booking guests ! Has happened to me before But everything else was fine

    8KareyPosted on: 10-23-2024

Great shower/pressure and hot water. Breakfast is limited to one egg in addition to the regular bread, cold meat and fried potatoes. Location is very central; walking distance to the plazas, water and local markets. Beds are comfy.

    Property is dated.

pick up from airport good and dropped off at hotel.Room was comfortable and clean.

No coffee in room or during day at hotel Breakfast was poor with no pastries and little choice of fruit. There is a second hotel nearby with almost the same name causing confusion for tours (Casona Plaza Central).Only one member of staff spoke English

    7MurrayPosted on: 10-11-2024

Hotel is in good location. Good size room.

The strong sewage smell from the bathroom. When issue raised with front desk staff they offered no comment or apology.

    7GhirxiPosted on: 10-3-2024

    Welcoming staff.

Ventilation in the room and windows opening in service shaft and stairwell. Bathroom is a bit dated.

    8FeliciaPosted on: 9-3-2024

Well located, staff were friendly and the room was everything I needed for a quick overnight stay. Breakfast was very good, plenty of options available at the buffet.

The shower in my room had windows that wouldn't completely close, not a problem in summer but quite cold getting in and out of when I stayed in winter.

    10LinePosted on: 8-17-2024

Nice warm room with good bed and hot bath. large and varied breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay here again

    7CandyPosted on: 7-29-2024

The room was perfect for what we needed. The bed was absolutely huge! The breakfast was a good spread too. Reception staff were very helpful.
