Location

The room was comfortable, with clean bedding. A little dated, but perfectly acceptable. Close to the main square. Welcoming reception staff on arrival.

Stains in some towels. The buffet breakfast was switched to table service on one occasion meaning we were given things we didn't want rather than choosing those we preferred.

Nicehotel, great location, good breakfast, nicewarm shower. They also stored part ofour luggage for a coupleof days for us.

Hotel Balsa is a comfortable hotel close to the plaza. I gave the hotel a 10 because of the staff. Our tour operator failed to pick us up for a 2 day tour. Had it not been for the gracious young man at the front desk - we would have missed a tour of Cruz del Condor and the Colca canyon.

we booked this restaurant because we arrived late and on the information on booming/the website it was said to have a restaurant. But at check in, the restaurant appeared closed. breakfast was medium. bad reception of wifi in our room. overall too expensive for the quality.

Great room in Puno. Arrived very early, fell asleep in reception, got room a few hours early, thanks !Nice breakfast, great beds and bathroom.

The hotel is located very close to the Plaza and "city centre". The room was big and very clean with a very good hot shower. The staff was friendly and helped us organizing a tour to the Titicaca lake. The breakfast was in form of a buffet with a lot of choices and really good. We arrived via nightbus and could book an early check-in at 5 am for half of the room price which we found fair.

The hotel and furnitures are a bit dark and not the newest one.

Bathroom temperature was like being outside due to the window lack of isolation where at night it cold down the whole team enormously

Beds were comfy, staff was helpful, breakfast was decent, extra blankets provided in room for when it's a bit chilly. Staff helped with laundry and airport transfers. Slept well.

I stayed twice and on the second night the water temperature in the shower wasn't great. Might have been because I was on the top floor - Suggest staying lower if you can

Room was lovely & breakfast was decent. Very conveniently located only one block from the main square. The staff kindly allowed us have a late checkout at a reasonable cost of 50% of the nightly rate as our departure was 9pm.

Very noisy at night cars passing the hotel at all hours and horns beeping from 5am. Windows provide zero insulation, the feel like their open when closed

One night there was no hot water!!The next evening the water was very very hot and the pressure was great. So take an early shower

Dignified, kind staff and the hotel in a great location just off the church and justice square. Large rooms and hallways. They were good enough to let us leave our luggage while travelling to the islands overnight.

The taxis beeping thru the night as we had a streetside room. We'd stay again easily but ask for not streetside.

We liked the friendliness of the staff, the location and the cleanliness.

The bed was quite small for 2. And the carpet would deserve to be changed.

The location of the hotel is perfect and we loved the breakfast, they had a lot of choice.

When we didn’t show up for breakfast they called our room to ask if we still wanted breakfast, while we deliberately skipped breakfast because we wanted to sleep in.

Staff and client attention were excellent, the breakfast was extremely good, great location, comfortable beds.

Nothing, except for small details (WiFi a bit weak in some spaces, rooms not totally quiet and a bit outdated) that are absolutely fair at this price level. I agree with some comments that the beds are on the smaller side (which was no problem at all for us but may be good to know for tall guests).

I checked in and the room was pre-heated, I extremely appreciated this gesture as it was cold outside!!The room and bathroom were very good. The breakfast was good too

All was good, the only thing the street was a bit noisy with quite a bit of honking
