This hotel was cold! Even though there is a heater in the room it took forever to take the chill out. Then again it was hard to find a restaurant that wasn’t cold!!

The breakfast has a lot of choice. The beds are really comfy. The slot for the charger does not always work.

The location street was quite noisy at nights

Loved the location within historic center. Close (walking distance) to many points of interest and with the added safety and convenience of pedestrian only thoroughfares. Staff was very helpful, Sergio (front desk) was the outstandingly courteous individual. Nice roof-top restaurant environment, though a bit cold during evenings in late June.

Really small rooms creating a challenge for luggage storage space and organizing clothing, etc. Also, a bit noisy at times due to adjacent traffic and loud horns from impatient motorists - that’s a common thing everywhere here in Peru’s major cities. Breakfast (included) choices were very limited.

A lovely family run hotel in the heart of puno. Staff were great and helped with all manner of enquiries: laundry, booking taxi, extra pillow, and even opened for breakfast early as we had to leave for a bus. Perfectly located within very short walk to main square. Room was large and came with plenty of blankets to stay warm. Travelling South America for 6 weeks and this has been one of my favourite places I've stayed.

Hotel a little dated, but this added to the charm of it in my opinion - some travellers may disagree and prefer more modern accommodation.

This is a beautiful old hotel with character, in an excellent location. Front desk staff went above and beyond to help me resolve and EVisa issue for which I was very grateful. The location is ideal being only a block or so away from the main pedestrian zone in Puno and on a quiet side street. Room was spotless clean except for the exception noted below.

I would take a 0.25 mark off only because of some slight evidence of mold around on the caulking around the tub/shower and for the old school high step into the shower that would be a struggle for anyone any older than me.

Room big and convenient with nice bed and heating. Location - not far from the square. I stayed there on my first night in Peru and in the morning needed to get sim card and cash - everything was within short walking distance from the hotel.Descent breakfast included in the price, really kind staff. Stored some of my luggage without extra charge when I went to Uros for the night.Small points for improvement -- Heating could be stronger, room was still very cold.- Stronger shower pressure would be great.

i arrived at 5:30 am (yeah... night bus from Arequipa). I waited in the lobby till 6:20, asked if the room was available, and if an early check-in was possible. The room was available, but I would have to pay an extra night. I suggested usually they charge max. half of the room rate. The recepcionist confirmed I would have to pay an extra day in full - she had asked the administrator - because I had a very good rate through booking.com. I didn't like that, and spent the morning doing an excsursion.

Room was small

Older hotel in good location close to plaza. Good breakfast with eggs to order. Staff VERY helpful. Bed comfy and room dark. Quiet at night. New bathroom with good hot water. Nothing fancy. At $35/night a good value. Tour of Lake Titicaca arranged for us was excellent - $28 all day including lunch.

Anything negative I could say is erased by the welcoming staff.

Good range of food for breakfast. Very comfortable beds.

Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The bedroom carpet was filthy. The hotel was hedged in by ugly buildings. But worst of all was the very loud music until 2 am from the town, which was a pity because the hotel itself was very quiet internally.
