Dormy Inn Miyazaki Natural Hot Spring

Cleanliness, hot tubs/sauna, free coffee/tea at the front, free ice cream ( PM hours)/mini drink(AM hours) after hot bath, free ramen noodle late in the evening. I got a clean set of towels every morning at the door (I stayed ther for about 2 weeks).

The room was a bit small. I prefer more space for stretching/yoga exercises:)

Price. An option with or without breakfast. A big/clean Onsen room.

Great food at the breakfast restaurant. Kind staff. 24-hour coffee at the lobby, late-night complimentary Ramen.

The bath gown looks not cleaned; human odor of the previous user was detected.

They gave me a room next to the vending machines and there were people going in and out slamming the doors. ?

The beds are a little too hard for my liking

A great experience, everything was so nice. The onsen was beautifully designed, and felt spacious. The extras were delightful, ie the mango pudding in the fridge, the free ramen at night, the after-onsen icecreams, the morning Yakults. The room was small but sparkling clean with a comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious.

I would have given it a 10/10 if they had smart TVs like so many similar hotels now, so we could watch our own streaming programs. Also, the parking is expensive. I recommend the Times car park a short distance behind the hotel, it's half the price.

Love the Onsen, I too twice a day. Free wash machine was a bonus to have and also free ice candy drive me back to my childhood with sweetness.

Room could be little bigger to have small sofa and relax because there is no sofa at lobby. I may try twin room next time to see how much roomere.

The breakfast was delicious. The onsen was small but nice. We liked the views of the city from the rooftop onsen.

It was nice to have the ramen available in the evening, but it didn't start until 9 or 9:30. We had been planning that for dinner, but didn't know the details so had to make other plans. There was only 1 bed even though the room was for 2 people, and the bed was tiny. It would have worked much better for a single person. There was also a motion-activated light at the entry. I tried to block it and turn it off, but could not stop it from blinding us when we got up to use the restroom at night. We also had to pay for parking, which is not ideal.

We recieved great service on check in, the young Korean man was very helpful and kind. Loved the onsen , free after 930pm snack ramen, the icy pop before 11pm +a morning yakult! The cleanliness of the room was a little disappointing mirror in the shower was not clean, hairs on the shower floor and toilet needs a deep clean. No streaming services either but not a deal breaker for us.

The inn was great. We had quite a crazy stressful day driving many hours and we found this Dormy Inn to be an excellent stop for the night. The onsen did wonders, we were too tired for a restaurant so we just grabbed some food at a kombini nearby and ate in the lobby where there are tables to do so. The night ramen was exceptionally good, we were quite surprised by its quality.

The movement light that turns on at the door is really a pain in the ***. We use the bathroom quite often at night and having that light turn on every time makes no sense. Other reviewers talked about it, we didn't think it would be a big deal but it is! It's mind boggling, everything else in the hotel seem to have been very well designed and detail oriented. Why those lights exist we can't fathom...

This was our first time to Miyazaki as tourists. We loved the city. The hotel is well located for local amenities and the hot spring was really enjoyable after a day of walking! The staff were lovely and super friendly.

The room was comfortable and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The hot spring and sauna were exceptional, with complimentary ice blocks and noodles in the evening. Free coffee at reception from 3pm through until 11am the next morning. Staff were very professional and helpful.

I love the onsen, ramen supper, ice cream and yoghurt drink provided by the hotel. The breakfast was great too. Highly recommended to add the breakfast.

The hotel does not provide complimentary parking, but we managed to find parking nearby at half the price.

Public bath included at the top of the hotel is really worthy. Furthermore, at the onsen floor, you'll find two rooms with mangas (you can even borrow 5 of them in your room for reading) and a selection of free ice-creams (there is a timespan for accessing the ice-creams. If you have no time for getting out for dinner, a bowl of ramen is offered in the breakfast room of the hotel. The bedroom space is slightly not enough if you travel with a lit of package, but it's mostly used by salarymen who doesn't need so much stuff during their journey. At night, we had no noise from the outside, so the sector is quiet. The breakfast is really nice with a variety of food that can just safisfy you.

This hotel is far from the station (30min by foot).
