APA Hotel Miyazaki Nobeoka-Ekimae

Convenient location, kind staff.

The wood furniture in the room was very old smelling (kind of dusty smelling, like old wood gets)--it honestly made me a little nauseated, but I understand it is an older hotel and it was a good price.

The room was nice and big compared to most hotel rooms in Japan.

The building turned its AC off on November 1st, so you could only use heat. My room was at least 80 degrees F. I did not sleep much the whole time I was there because of this. Even when I turned off the heat the room was hot and stuffy.

Clean, comfortable, cool, deep tub. The room was fairly big for an APA hotel. I think this was the best APA hotel I have ever stayed in. Location was right next to the station, restaurants and 7-11.

First, I was greeted by my own name in the lobby. There is probably not many foreign tourists, but anyway, it was the nicest welcome in the hotel.I asked for a quiet room and I got it, it was perfectly quiet. I did not hear a sound from the neighbours, or street or railway - which is like 2 minute walk from the hotel.All necessary amenities, which are the best in APA chain (especially their toothbrush) and most convenient from all.Othewise standard comfortable japanese hotel.Arigatou gozaimasu!

Cleaning can be improved, but nothing terrible.

It was clean, close to the train, affordable, near restaurants. Perfect for what I needed which was an overnight resting point on the road to Takachiho.

It was difficult to find the entrance, a simple message with some images and a note that its the second floor would have saved me from 5 minutes in the rain!

The location of this hotel is relatively convenient, but the sanitary facilities are too bad. When we entered the room, we found that the bed of the last guest in the hotel had not been changed. It was covered with hair, and there was a strange smell in the room, especially the toilet. We called the front desk and were told that we could not change the room, so we asked him to change it. After all the sheets and quilt covers, I found that the sheets were stained, and there was a lot of hair in the pillow. The price is not very cheap, but the environment is terrible. If I hadn't passed by this place, I might not stay in this hotel again. If the guest is mentally prepared before checking in and checking whether the bed has been replaced in time, the staff's attitude is okay. I can only give it two stars.

Cleanliness of the room was poor. Mould in window walls. Aircon very dusty. 1 towel had 1 black hair.

The hotel is perfectly located at 1 min by foot from the train station. Interest points was also not too far away. Everything we needed was provided by the hotel.

The room was either too hot or too cold (with airconditioner)

The location definitely a plus, close to the bua station if you want to visit Takachiho Gorge. Not many restaurants around, but theres 7 eleven and you can't go wrong with Japanese konbini.

Room is small and breakfast is not suitable for Western or non Japanese.Hotel is a bit old. Currently is under renovation. I would like to find out more after the completion of renovation.

I liked everything they even had a little touch of origami birds in the room the room was beautiful tastefully done there were plenty of amenities the Wi-Fi was working great. Staff were 100% friendly and helpful and supportive.

There was nothing I didn't like I give this an A+

Right next to the station, spacious room, TV with smart casting is all a plus.

Location, amenities and proximity to station and convenience store

The air conditioning was not working well and the fridge is also spoilt.

Location is a few steps from the train station. Room is enough for a single person. Bed is comfy. There are several aundry machines within the property.

The smell. The odor, rather. Had to request for a change of room as soon as i stepped inside the room i was initially given. It smelled like a stampede of unhygeinic sweaty humans on a humid sweltering day. Just unbearable. Opening the window doesnt do much as the odor thrives on the wall where the coat hangers are. The smell in the second room was tolerable. But it still had that armpit smell. And there was a suspicious stain on the chair..

Comfortable bed and super close to train/bus station. 2 min walk. Friendly front desk staff. It’s great for what it is. A transit hotel to stay a night or two while traveling.

APA beds are always too soft. Hotel was shabby and in need of refurb. No sound insulation. Washing machine washed too hot and shrunk our clothes badly.

Location n nothing else.

1. Central controlled air conditioning. We felt v stuffy n there was only heater on in the room. We asked recep whether could turn on cool air but they said centrally controlled, n it’s heating now, no cold air. We had to open the windows to let cold air in which we didnt mind but small insects came flying in as well. Duh…2. The tap is the old type. Turn clockwise, water flows from basin tap. Turn anti-clockwise, water flows from shower. if a person forgets to leave the tap in the right position, one may get splashed by the shower head. 3. No English speaking staff, making communication difficult. Our room wifi had problem. We caled the reception n they kept telling us wifi id n password on TV. We gave up trying to explain we knew they were on TV but we had problem connecting. Overall, we were glad we didnt have to stay long at this hotel.

Very poor

They put me in a room just right next to the elevator. It was noisy all night long, so I didn't sleep much. The toilet wasn't cleaned, the bed was too short and I couldn't stand upright in the shower... Worst hotel room in my whole life!

Very helpful staff! Managed to free the room already before check-in time due to our early arrival. Location beside the train station very convenient.
