Phoenix Seagaia Ocean Tower

The Fukami teppanyaki restaurant was fantastic. There was plenty of parking, and parking was free. The staff was really nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The convenience store and gift store down on the basement was very convenient. For laundry, they only had four washers and four dryers (I think), but the machines were unusually large for Japan, and it was well appreciated.

The onsen was too crowded, having to wait 30 minutes on the women's. As busy as the hotel is, there should be more onsens. The hotel looks a bit old.

I know it was the off-season, but the huge suite I got while this was just about the cheapest hotel on my trip was amazing. Very comfortable and spacious, with a great view of the ocean. Since I only stayed one night, I didn't have the chance to check out many of the amenities, but what little I did see seemed great. I did use the outdoor onsen, which was very nice and scenic. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The free parking was great too.

Nothing really. I'm not sure how easy this hotel is to get to by transit since it's a little remote, but by car it's no problem.

There was no direct access to the ocean. We had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated at the restaurant for breakfast.The room was old and the bathroom not clean. The check-out process was not smooth because the receptionnist asked me to pay for my stay although it has been already prepaid with booking.com. After 20 minutes of waiting at the reception, the employee told me everything was good. But afterwards, the hotel charged me again on my credit card without telling me anything.

Loved that the third floor could be considered a ‘stand alone health club’ available to hotel guests. The onsen was amazing! The dinner buffet had a great selection of choices with my favorite meat in ponzu sauce and the shrimp tempura. Lots of parking available to guests. Huge Aeon Mall only a few minutes away.

Driving up to the property, it looked dated and a little disrepair. However, once inside, we were pleasantly surprised of the interior and the customer service from the staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable.Our only wish was that the gym and onsen hours were longer. Gyms should be opened early for the guests’ morning workouts.

My room was spacious and very comfortable. The pool was wonderful and it was great to be able to rent the cabanas for a couple hours.

My friend and I reserved our rooms and I upgraded to a corner room. Her room was nicer than mine with a better view on a higher floor. My room felt run down and used, whereas hers felt new. I had tears in the curtains. She had a bath with a window so she could always see the ocean. I left jealous of her.

We enjoyed very much our stay at the Resort. The weather was terrible that days in Miyazaki, but it was not an issue as there several amenities in the resort that we used.We had almost no time to use all of them in the two nights that we spent there. We specially enjoyed the swimming pool, fitness room, the onset and the karaoke.

Everything was great, the only thing they could improve is the buffet's fruit. It was not as tasty as expected being in Kyushu.

All good but the bathroom tap is not easy to use and the glass door of shower isn’t clean, there’s stains on it.

Have stayed here before. The best location, connected by a bridge directly to the Railway station. Big and nice overall.

A complimentary upgrade would have been nice considering we stay here often.

The bed frames seem to be a bit out of shape and do not support body weight well.
