    Pros +

    • Cleanliness, staff, women?s spa room(spacious).
    • I don¿t mind waking but for those who don¿t like waking, it¿s a stretch of (only) 10+ minutes walk from Miyazaki station. The building is old but everything is well updated and kept clean. The staff is very courteous. I enjoyed stone sauna every mornin
    • The free amenities at the lobby, snacks and drinks. Decent cleanliness. The lobby was also pretty.

    Cons -

    • Nothing. FYI: if you have Tattoos, you are asked not to use public bath/onsen ( for males) and stone sauna ( for females).
    • I didn’t realize that the onsen was just for men. I specifically booked this hotel because of the onsen and I was so excited about it after a long day of working and traveling just to find out it’s only for men :( I guess they never moved on from the Showa and early Heisei era when only men were booking business hotels and were catered for men. I think it should be clearly indicated in the property details in Booking in bold caps that the onsen is ONLY for men. I also accidentally left my brand new Calvin Klein belt in my room and they’re saying that they couldn’t find it. Usually, you will always get your lost items back in Japan. It was also too far from the station (16 mins walk). Not exactly ideal location for very busy travelers without cars.

This is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main Miyazaki station but I’m really glad I stayed here. I did not expect to enjoy the sauna and lounge as much as I did, and I would come back to Miyazaki just to experience it again. It had kind of a nostalgic, Blockbuster ‘90s feel to it or like you’re in a temple from Ocarina of Time. The lounge area also has free popcorn, beer, boiled eggs, popsicles, and other stuff like potatoes. There’s also a room with massage chairs that’s pretty cool as well. The room itself was pretty nice but nothing out of the ordinary from a regular business hotel in Japan. It was just nice having the option to go downstairs and hang out in the lounge or sauna instead of stay in the room. There’s also a free drink machine in the lobby and vending machines on different floors. I’ll definitely come back here next time I’m in Miyazaki.

Stayed here 2 nights. It worked out very well. Very clean and comfortable.

They have a private parking for bicycle and motorbike.

It’s not really close to the busy district. Takes around 20 minutes walking to get there.

Excellent hotel with a good breakfast buffet, a nice free onsen with drinks, snacks, relax area with comics and massage chairs.Arigato!

The onsen and sauna facilities are excellent. The coffee corner provide various types of drinks at free. The room space is moderate and I feel cozy to stay there.

The location is little bit far from Miyazaki JR station and need to walk 15 minutes to arrive. Also, the price is a bit high, compared to I stay in other Kyuushu cities. But considering the excellent onsen and sauna facilities, I think it is worthwhile to pay for it.

Friendly staff help with restaurant reservation, good free breakfast, generous 24h free drinks at lobby.

Cold wind comes in from window n out beat the heater. Not good location 1.2km from JR Station n city center both way with no taxi pass by, strange policy of not allowing staff to call taxi for guests, we end up walk to JR Station.

Location is convenient for visiting Miyazaki.Breakfast restaurant is with floor-to-ceiling windows. Visitor can enjoy the rich meal and watch the morning life of Miyazaki's people on the street.

The color of carpet. It is dark color

Good location and parking was available. Plus, a later checkout time.

Overall, no comment here. I do miss the yukata pajamas though.

    6DanielPosted on: 11-29-2024

The public bathroom was great as well as the breakfast. It was also not that far away from the Miyazaki station.

If you get a room in the first foor and pointing to the parking lot than you get kitchen smell from the aircons.

    9BenPosted on: 11-14-2024

Good price with good facilities and plenty of space which was a luxury compared to my stay in bigger cities. Even had a car park available despite me not booking ahead which was fortunate as we got a rental car for the last part of our trip. The buffet breakfast was great and the staff were lovely. Miyazaki is definitely a place I wish I had more time to explore on the trip, would spend more time here and in Fukuoka instead of Tokyo which is too busy for my tastes.

Unfortunately was too tired to visit the bath during our stay, which was sad given we chose this hotel largely due to the presence of the bath. My partner did try in the morning but found the bath was only for men and only sauna was available for women, which is a bit sad.

    9MichaelPosted on: 11-14-2024

My go to hotel in Miyazaki because of its huge open bath and free amenities (including beer and snacks). Outside looks old but rooms are very modern and designed to aid sleep.

A bit of a walk from most public transport.

The hotel was older, was well maintained and very clean! I really enjoyed their onsite lady's sauna facility! So relaxing!

    Value for money hotel

used mainly by the local salaried men. There is an onsen - but only for men. Kettle, iron, extra pillows, washer n dryer were located at every flr lift lobby. 1st come 1st served. Room was not made during my 2 day stay but fresh towels were put outside your door. We had rented a car so location not an issue. Not near shopping

Miyazaki Daiichi Hotel is in a very central location. The rooms are quite spacious. The bed is very comfortable. Rooms are very cleaning with cleaning services daily. There is a spa facility as weight

To be honest! There was nothing to dislike

    8NitayaPosted on: 8-29-2024

Breakfast was great with a very attentive staff. What we loved the most about staying at this place are generous refill drinks bar and coffee in the morning. The rock spa was superb with very nice staff team to help assist you during spa time, there was even free eggs, snacks, miso soup and apple cider given out for free during spa time.

The parking area is a little limited if you are planning to travel there by car. The elevator can also get a little crowded during check out time which is understandable. If you are a woman and looking for an onsen bath you would be disappointed because onsen is for men only.
