Hotel Nikko Kumamoto

Great location to the shopping area and Kumamoto Castle.

Room is clean but kind of dated.

Overall very good as we always enjoy. We just wish they add a fitness room in this hotel.

They have a great breakfast buffet which we always enjoy. This time because we went later, almost all food was gone and we couldn't enjoy.

High-level service. The hotel is a bit dated, but its very central location makes it great value for money.

Centrally located, right next to shopping and food. Breakfast and staff were great! Room was spacious.

Staffs are very nice. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

It is conveniently located by Kumamoto castle and local mall which offers many options for dining.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They were very helpful with making dinner reservations for us, consulting us to ensure that we would be happy with their recommendations. It was a success!

Amazing hotel, close to the castle. Staff were absolutely attentive. The room was huge and with castle views. Very convenient if you are taking the coach line to Yufuin or Kurokawa, as the bus station is in front of the hotel.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We enjoyed everything. Great staff, location, and hotel. Location is perfect and easy to get to from the airport. It is also very close to Kumamoto Castle. My wife and I really loved our room and the morning breakfast buffet was fantastic. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. We visited during our anniversary and they upgraded our room with one of the best views of Kumamoto Castle.

Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are big. Very convenient location, a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby.

The hotel is a little bit old.

I put a request to provide a room in higher floor near elevator and the hotel did. I was very happy with it.

They don't have a gym. Really wish they will put a fitness gym someday as I'm sure many guests will use.

Convenient location near shopping and restaurants, near Kumamoto-jo. Room had a beautiful view of Kumamoto castle!

Great location with view on the Kumamoto Castle, very helpful staff, excellent Japanese breakfast.

The location was good. A little way from the station but the A tram was easy to use and convenient. Right next to the Castle and near a lot of dining options.

The rooms were very dated. Quite small and not very well laid out. We stayed for four nights so it made the stat a little uncomfortable. No storage so trying to squeeze around open suitcases.

i was looking for my ring under the bed, and found out under the bad was so dusty , and dirty. they should work on it more .

Staffs were very supportive and can speak English very well. Breakfast was great; plenty of food. Also, they have the BALMUDA toaster which we personally love it. The location of the hotel is next to the shopping area.

Firstly, the location is perfect. It’s easy to visit the castle and shopping areas, and bus stop to the airport is just outside hotel. Staffs have been welcoming and friendly while providing services and help.

The equipment of the bathroom is not new, but everything is clean. So I am okay with that.

Location was great, near by a lot of shops. Employees are kind and helpful, breakfast is good too.
