Never staying at Mystay again

The washroom was extremely dirty and the sink and tub doesn't look like it has been cleaned in a while. The water did not drained well while taking a shower. The bed was not comfortable at all and it gave both me and my partner back pain the next morning. We stayed at a different Mystay before and have ways had decent experience, but this location was just below our expectations of what a hotel should be like. I don't think we will ever stay at another Mystay hotel again.

Breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were nice.

The temperature was very hot in the rooms with no ventilation or windows to open.

Very close to the ginza and areas to shop. Only about a 10-15min walk to Kumamoto castle.

I didn’t realize I booked a smoking room and that’s all that was available. Make sure you verify before booking or else you will be miserable!

Nice location close to tram stop, central shopping street and sakuramachi mall. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk were very nice and even helped me retrieve a lost item.

The location was ok. Price was cheap

Don’t assume that you will get to use the hotel’s paid parking. It’s a small first come first served lot and it’s not possible to reserve. If you have a car with you be prepared to park elsewhere.

The room was a great size, the beds and pillows were comfortable, amenities were great, and I appreciated that it was a smart TV so we could use YouTube for a white noise video to help our child sleep. I also appreciated how clear the instructions were for other amenities and even how to turn the refrigerator on. They were also helpful when it came to finding parking. This is now our favorite hotel in Kumamoto!

Everything was fine. The room was a typical Japanese hotel room, similar to many others that I have stayed in over the years. In other words, there's nothing all that special about the room, but nothing bad to report, either. :-) The location is pretty good, as the hotel is very centrally located and you can easily walk around the neighborhood. Also, there is plenty of parking available for a reasonable price in the immediate area if you don't want to pay for parking at the hotel. The price we paid for the room was very reasonable.

The room was rather small, but that was no surprise since the size of the room is clearly stated on the booking website. :-)

We had a bigger two-bed room on the 5th floor and it was really comfortable. Nice bed and pillows!

The parking area was indeed too small, but there are a bunch of coin parking around the hotel. We parked right across from the designated parking lot and it was cheaper than the hotel!

It is a few minutes walk to the shopping arcade. The breakfast is yummy.

The toilet is not very clean

Staff were really helpful and friendly - in particular the cleaning staff. Great location, comfortable bed

The property was very secure & also is very multi functional & is in a great spot plus the taxi service is quick to get there as well.

Had a triple room for the two of us and it was a good size. Very comfortable bed and sheets. Good location few minutes walk from bus terminal. Trams nearby. Breakfast good.

High step into bathroom but weird.

The room has two single beds and two tatami beds. The room is not that big. There is basically no space to walk around after all the luggages are opened. The location is consider good. We can see Shirakawa River from the window.

Parking lot - The car can’t leave until the next day’s check-out, and it costs 1,200 yen. As a result, our self-driving tourists can only park the car in the nearby paid parking lot, because the parking lot provided by the hotel is on a first-come, first-served.

Nice riverside view, very near to Sakuramachi station which has a bid shopping mall. We could buy all we need there.

booked a family room with tatami. decent location..within 15min walk to kumamoto castle.good size for family of 4.breakfast is decent.

"centralised" air con that I am not sure if it was functioning. spoke to 3 separate staff about itafter checking in...the first one told me air con only turns on at 6pm ???checked with front desk after 6pm...2nd one told me to switch it off for 10min and let it reset ???went out for dinner...came back and check with them again...and was told its centralised air con...basically nothing we can do about it? was given a small fan which rattle through the night

Convenient location right at one end of shopping street

Need walk 300m from nearest convenience store.Washing machine a bit expensive. Think entire Kumamoto is a relatively expensive place to stay.

Location good. Room comfortable.
