One Station Hotel Kumamoto -DLIGHT LIFE & HOTELS-

Location is just beside Kumamoto Station, whereby bullet train and normal train is located. The City Tram also located nearby. Very convenient. Family Mart is beside hotel and inside station. Also has Amu Plaza for shopping and dining. Furthermore, if taking Klook tour from Kumamoto, meeting place is just outside station. As for hotel, room is clean and spacious enough. Facility is minimal but good enough, and value for money. Hotel staff can also converse in basic English and can store your luggage before check-in.

The lady's toilet in the hotel lobby is not very clean.

Wow an amazing hotel. right next to Kumamoto Station. There is a shopping center near it with lots of food and shopping options, The room was very comfy one of the best bathrooms / shower areas i have seen, with a huge timber bath. Separate toilet, very comfortable beds and a nice sitting area to take off and put on your shoes. the free drinks and snacks area on the 4th floor was a surprise. Only a short tram ride into the center of Kumamoto and Kumamoto Castle. Great staff.

Very conveniently located with just 5 minutes walk from the train station. The room is relatively spacious comparing to other hotels in Japan.

The room itself was very clean but the carpet was badly stained.

The hotel is directly at the train station, very comfortable room, new, good storage space, comfortable bed and a overall nice hotel

The hotel was beautiful the staff was accommodating and I had a much better room then last time I felt like I was living like a king hahaha

The toilet has 2 much water inside it was like a swimming pool I had to put so much toilet paper in that the toilet got clogged after one flush and they didn't have anything other then towels to clear up the toilet water on the bathroom floor. But it got resolved by me and I used public toilets for number 2 afterwards

Great location, i.e. in front of the station and close to car-rentals.

Some non-Japanese guests were very loud in the corridor.

Just a steps away from Kumamoto Station.Bigger than the average sized rooms.Great breakfast buffet.

May be a time for renovations.Breakfast buffet should start from 6:30am rather than 7:00am.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Location is relatively close to the main station making it a good point for both visiting the city and getting to the Shinkansen, as well as JR lines, if you were going to visit Mount Aso.

Nothing I didn’t like

This was one of the pricer hotels we stayed in but it was lovely! The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was larger than we were expecting based on other rooms and we had a lovely view.

The bar was good

No room cleaning unless you pay extra, bathroom very dated.

Locationb is just near the main Kumamoto station. Room is good size and good facilities.

Appreciate their effort on eco-sustainability. Room was nice, so was the dining bar.

They don’t have laundry rooms for guests, only laundry service.

Excellent location, building, and room. The lobby is also very comfortable. The staff was really helpful and kind. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay. The room had everything I needed, and the price was very affordable. The station and the convenience stores nearby are also a great positive point.

Just a small detail, but the wi-fi was very slow inside the room. Maybe it was only my room, but I used my own internet data. Apart from that, everything went smoothly, and there were no other complaints.

Very good location - a minute walk from the central station. Room was quite spatious, clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
