Mitsui Garden Hotel Kumamoto

Nice hotel, close to the major bus terminal of Kumamoto. It is close to the Kumamoto Castle as well as other attractions like One Piece Statues. And it has a huge Kumamon inside.

Great location, central and close to main sites in the city centre. The room was spacious ,clean and the bed was comfortable, good value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, central and close to main sites in the city centre. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, good value for what we paid. The room was clean and the common spaces were also nice. Parking was straightforward and the staff was very helpful.

Nothing to note.

Close to sakuramachi bus terminal. Quiet location.

One beds sheet was placed too high. Yes thats the only bad thing which isn’t bad at all

The service and front desk is very friendly, even I used the Japanese not smoothy.

The room TV doesn't have streaming service so I couldn't use any streaming service when I relax in my room.

Staff was very accomodating and nice! Room was a small standard business hotel style, but not much to complain about if you know what you're getting.

American style duvet with separate linens was not really our style.

An excellent business hotel in the heart of Kumamoto City. Easy to get to via the bus terminal or by tram. The rooms were comfortable, had excellent AC, and very clean. I had zero issues with this business hotel. The wifi was quite fast.

Good buffet breakfast

Queen bed was wide 160cm, but it was too soft. Big bed used most of the space, nearly no space to open luggage

Conveniently close to a lot of good restaurants, immaculately clean bathroom, close to the bus station , Kumamoto Castle and the train station.Breakfast was nice

Bed can be bigger

Good place, awesome staff (as usual in Japan), average room size with all amenities you really need. Vending and ice machines available. What i really loved was the breakfast, given the price we paid for the hotel we didn't expect much, but it was definitely the best breakfast we had in 20 days trip in Japan. Much much recommended.

Location is very convenient, 500m to the shops

Not very clear instructions about restrictions for car parking (less than 150). Need to go park in alternate location Passurt 24

The location is excellent . Near to the shopping street and Sakura Machi shopping mall . Plenty of restaurant and shops . The hotel is good , clean and comfortable. There is a parking lot at the back of the hotel ( indoor ) but only for small car . We drove a MPV so can't park in . But the staff who take care of the parking lot is so generous . He use the translator to explain that we can park at the car park in the Sakura Machi mall with the affortable parking rate. Just need to walk about 5-7 minutes from the mall to the hotel. The room is clean and typical Japanese hotel room style. The power shower is a bonus.Ya , the most important is the Kumamoto Castle is within walking distance from the hotel . About ( 15-20 minutes walk )

We thought the room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the whole city.

I did not think the buffet was very good. The eggs were hardboiled (what?) many of the dishes were bland. We have enjoyed many buffets across Japan but this one just didn't hit the mark.

It’s a short walk from the main train station

The laundry machine was weird and I couldn’t find a stop button. It only runs in clean tub, wash clothes, dry clothes cycle. You can’t “just dry” and there’s no temperature setting. I left the hotel with soaking wet clothes which wouldn’t dry in the dry cycle (and the soaking wet clothes had hot water running through them for an hour)

Convenient location

Room is hot and small

The room is clean n well renovated

No aircon

Highly recommend this hotel - Great location with many shops and restaurants nearby Very clean and comfortableBreakfast was amazing - Excellent BuffetThis hotel will be my option for my next trip to Japan

Nothing to say - Hotel is excellent

The staffs are extraordinary helpful. We were involved in an accident where another vehicle hit our car while parking in a parking lot. We received a notice left on the windscreen, instructing us to go to the police station, but it didn’t mention about the incident and was written on plain A4 paper without letterheads. We were unsure if the notice is genuine or a prank. The staffs at Mitsui Garden Hotel were very helpful to contact the police to obtain more information for us. The room is clean and comfortable.

Walking distance to the castle. Car Parking in site with fair pricong . Nice breakfast withbmultiple choices. Professionalism and courtesy of the staff.

Good hotel in the city centre. Easy to find and with a parking. Laundry facilities and ice machine. Good value, friendly personnel.
