2000 Hotel Downtown Kigali

Great location. Lovely views. Spacious rooms. Comfortable beds.

Rooms would benefit from a simple fan to help circulate the air. Restaurant is good quality, but lacks simple food - sometimes one only wants a sandwich!

Very friendly staff. Great central location. Free airport shuttle. Reasonable price.

Electricity to refrigerator went off when key card was removed whenever leaving the room. Nothing could be kept cold.

Downtown

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I would particularly like to mention the young woman who took my bags to my room as well as all of the front desk staff.

The staff was warm and welcoming.

Security personnel are rude. A reason enough to avoid the hotel.

Staff....and the concierge service was EXCELLENT. They were helpful throughout my visit.

Staff amazing. Excellent service.

Restaurant food not very good.

The location in the downtown area. A restaurant onsite that was open 24 hours abd great variety of foods for breakfast. The staffs at the hotel really helped me tolerate my stay.

The bathroom had mold and needed deep cleaning. The shower was leaking and the issue for never fully addressed.

Big rooms with lots of outlets that accept any plug. Laundry service was good and fast. Great view from room.

Room could have been more well lit. The area is a little random - attached to a mall.

An Unforgettable Stay in the Heart of Kigali!Hotel 2000 is simply the perfect choice for anyone looking for a central location, outstanding service, and exceptional cleanliness. The hotel is located right in the heart of Kigali, within walking distance of everything. You can easily explore the beauty of the city on foot—Kigali is clean, peaceful, and absolutely stunning.Compared to other hotels, the pricing here is excellent and very budget-friendly. The rooms are incredibly clean—beyond description. The staff is what truly makes this place special: they are kind, warm, and extremely helpful.Breakfast is included and can even be delivered to your room, which is a great bonus.A special shoutout to the amazing young man Emmy, who works the evening shift around 10 PM. He is polite, gracious, and always ready to help—an absolute gem and a credit to the hotel. I truly appreciated his kindness and professionalism.Don’t hesitate to book this hotel—it offers everything you could possibly need. And don’t miss visiting Rwanda, a breathtakingly beautiful country that’s as clean as it is charming, with lovely people that make you feel like hugging everyone you meet.Thank you, Rwanda. And thank you, Emmy??

The carpet is old and not clean. The walls are molded, though covered with wall paper.

Great value for money as apart from BB we had a transfer from the airport that was included. Big clean room

Everything + authentic Chinese food served at hotel restaurant. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

excellent location. good breakfast. friendly staff

This is fairly big hotel close to downtown, a 5-min walk from the pedestrian street. The hotel has seen its best days and is ripe for a major renovation. Still, my stay (first time in Kigali) was pretty pleasant. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was really good.

The bed was quite hard, but that's a problem for me in many hotels. The room was big and clean, but many details would need renovation. Given as a feedback already, my room's smoke alarm and safety deposit box were missing batteries, and also the hairdryer was missing. I should have asked a new room, perhaps. Also, for an European, I was shocked (not literally) because there was a power outlet in the shower, just 30cm from the shower head. TIA!

Good business type hotel with all the conveniencesExcellent breakfast with nice viewsNice terrace/garden

Lobby/hotel access not on ground floor

Good rateFriendly staff

The bed was very hard

The airport pickup and drop off was seamless. Dodos the driver was awesome orienting me into Kigali. Breakfast was good with good varieties, the room was spacious and very clean. I wanted a location within CBD and this worked very well for me. I got complimentary laundry services and room service for my entire stay. I will definitely stay here again.

The friendliness of the staff and helpful to get me to the convention

Sometimes the cleaner never moved suitcase to clean

Hotel 2000 staff were very professional, friendly, and were always happy to help! Our stay was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the city from a high floor of the hotel. The price we paid was very good for the executive suite, including a huge bedroom and a living room. The hotel included excellent complimentary services including laundry and a one way transfer to or from the airport, which was extremely useful. A continental buffet breakfast was included, with a lot of variety and an omelette station. Dinners served at the hotel restaurant was delicious authentic Chinese food. I highly recommend Hotel 2000 if you are looking to stay in a central location with a luxurious experience!
