- The breakfast and restaurant were great. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, very clean. Good price.
- We returned to the Nest after our gorilla trek because of our fantastic experience during our first stay. Cancelled our Airbnb to return
- The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was terrific and the rooms very clean
Cons -
- Nothing. All good
- Water flow at the shower booth
- The first room I got was filthy with blood stained mosquito nets and a very dirty shower curtain. The curtain in the room was also falling apart. The tables were dusty and there was a stench from the bathroom. I asked to move to a different room which they did but it was worse than the first one. I moved out of the hotel after that first night when it became clear that nothing was going to be done about the cleanliness. I got mosquito bites and ended up nursing malaria. The hotel charged me a whooping $855.24 for that one night - basically wouldn’t refund the rest of the money even though they were in agreement that the rooms were not habitable. Outside the plants and all make it look nice but I’d advise people to avoid it altogether.

Breakfast was a feast and the massage was so good
Water flow at the shower booth
Breakfast buffet was healthy and delicious. The service was impeccable and the staff was very helpful.
Absolutely loved my solo-cation here ! The breakfast was good, the staff were lovely & helpful. And the massage? Loved it! Amazing decor too.
The hotel receptionist was kind and understanding. However, she has no authority to do anything about the deplorable condition of the hotel.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood; personel is very friendly and helpful. Massage we took by Eugenia was just amazing . You can easily walk or take moto taxi when moving further.
Beautiful property, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast
The shower in my room was broken
Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the fresh power juices made every day. Good variety at breakfastGood Pressure and hot water in the shower. The complimentary massage was a nice surprise. And the Therapist does a good job. Really good value for money. Staff are super accommodating.
There was sewage smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. You could see water damage on one of the walls in the room.
The room was really comfortable. Simple, but had everything we needed. The free massage was a nice touch after a long day.Lovely little cafes/restaurants close by within walking distance. It felt really safe to walk around.
I loved this hotel! The rooms were comfortable and spacious and i loved the greenery around the property. The staff was so kind and the breakfast was 10/10. I would definitely return to The Nest if I get the chance to come back to Kigali!
Decent common facilities and friendly staff. The breakfast is good and the location is central.
My room didn’t meet my expectations. It was dark and there was mold on the wall in the corner of the room.
The hotel itself was absolutely amazing! Loved everything about it. The breakfast was delicious and the stay even came with a complimentary massage.
There isn’t anything major I didn’t enjoy. I do think the staff were very helpful and attentive however, at times felt a bit standoffish.
The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was good and the property is very relaxing
The room that I was in was by the breakfast area and there was no sound proofing.
Location, clean, comfortable and friendly staff
It was clean and quiet. The staff were good too.
The place is quiet and very near town for easy access, the breakfast is good and some additionals.
The bathrooms are basic and the covers are too thin yet it is a cold weather. However, they are veey helpful in providing extra covers. I was almost freezing. The non refund policy, i wanted to join other participants where they were because logistical issues like transport etc. I had to stay and in the end it became costly in terms of transport to where the summit was. It took an extra $100 a cost i would have avoided because they had orgnised a bus.
The location was good and they provided two free hour massages by a blind lady which was incredibleI also liked that they share a swimming pool which is close by and easy to use
The front desk sometimes felt disengaged , said they would do things but weren’t always honourable and had to be chased up a few times. The bathroom was really poor, there was a water leak in the shower , which meant it dripped continually and the water was also on the bathroom floor. Also when I said to front desk about the interior light above the sink not working , they replied, yes that ‘s usual they don’t work… so they do need to up their game
The atmosphere was very nice and relaxed with the beautiful garden and the friendly staff. The flexibility at breakfast and the possibility of ordering dinner. The sitying area outside in the breakfast terrace area is very comfortable and inviting to relax and be present in the tranquille environment.I also appreciated that the receptionist connected us to a friendly and flexible taxi driver who could easily tesond to our transport needs, that added to the comfort and making our stay pleasant and the attendance of the conference at the Kigali Convention Centre enriching.
I would like to suggest small cloth serviettes/reed sets to put one's plates and cutlery on, durimg breakfast or any meal, instead of on the bare table top.A small waste bin in the room and a second chair in the room would also be nice, but is not essential.
