    Pros +

    • The fact that it’s a small hotel, but still has all facilities for a relaxing stay. While the pool is small and not heated, it was nice to take a dip and s short swim after a hot day of visiting the tourist attractions. Best salads we had in Rwanda and international influences in other dishes which was a pleasant surprise. Coming from a cold country, we appreciated being able to have all meals outside by the pool. Nice local stylish decorations in the hotel and the rooms. We stayed in a small standard room 2 nights, but it still was very comfortable. For the last two nights of our stay in Rwanda we booked a deluxe and got upgraded to a suite which was huge. Beds were comfortable in both rooms and we appreciated the terrace in the suite and being able to air the room so we did not need to use the AC which can be noisy during the night. We were able to relax in the well kept garden before taking off to the airport, which is a plus. There is a relaxing vibe in the hotel with soft music and all the staff were attentive to our needs and very discrete.
    • We stayed at Amata n’Ubuki Boutique Hotel twice during or travels in Rwanda. It is an outstanding small hotel located in a quiet area of Kigali. The staff is great and very accommodating. It is a well appointed boutique hotel with quality art. The meals are great. I especially enjoyed the Osso Buco, it may well be the best I ever had. If you don’t stay there at least visit the restaurant. The hotel is also close to the airport.
    • Everything was great. It's located in a nice, safe neighborhood. The rooms are perfectly clean and well-maintained. The service from the entire staff is exceptional.

    Cons -

    • Nothing that made our stay less enjoyable
    • There was nothing I didn’t like about Amata n’Ubuki.
    • The people at the restaurant are also amazing, but the service generally takes longer than necessary.

Nice courtyard with restaurant by the pool, enhances the boutique experience. Friendly staff. Owner was on premise - chatting with customers. Exhibited art from local artists that enhanced the ambience.

Charlotte and the staff are amazing. The Chef smiles and makes you nice smoothies. This is real African Pride.

I love this hotel and always stay here when in Kigali. The location is close to the Convention Centre, The decor is beautiful with lots of great art. Lovely poolside dining area. Staff are friendly and helpful. . Wi-fi is good. When the owner is in town she always comes by to say hello. You won't be disappointed.

A very charming place. Very close to the Kigali convention centre to and from which I walked every day. The staff is beyond amazing! Lovely friendly , warm and always available to solve your problems and fulfil your needs. Significantly clean and the breakfast was perfect. Really thank you and looking forward to my next visit

    Everything was good.

The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The room was large and was perfectly clean. Breakfast was included in the price and was generous, tasty and was ready on the expected time after I pre-ordered the night before. The hotel is at 10-15 minutes walk (5 minutes with Move or Taxi) from the KCC and the location is very safe to walk in even on the evening. I did not tried Lunch or Dinner, so can not comment about the food.

I had nothing to complain about. The staff are extremely polite and very helpful, making the guest's experience joyful.

Great location and very helpful staff

The lack of a mini fridge

    Serene location, quiet

My colleague was served stale sausages & green vegetables for breakfast. She had to check out immediately!?Please improve on your breakfast menu. I literally skipped breakfast for some days after being served the wrong foods on two occasions. Ensure all your waiters understand English, at least.

I had the most amazing stay. I came off a long trip in Uganda so I was hoping to relax and this was the perfect place to do that in. I felt like I was in a spa! The food is exceptional as are the staff. The decor is tasteful, beautiful and elegant but comfortable. There is amazing art work all around the hotel. The rooms are a very good size with beautiful bathrooms. I cannot fault a single thing really. The restaurant/dining area is situated around a beautiful swimming pool. The whole ambience was just perfection.

Really searching for something here and its practically impossible. I will say that the sound of the neighboring air conditioner could be heard in my room.. at first I thought it was a hot tub turning off and then off but I think it was the A/C. It was actually the only slightly negative element to the stay but even that is reaching.. it did not impact my stay at all really, I just noticed it but coming from Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National park, I was used to silence at night so probably noticed it more.

Amata n’Ubuki (milk and honey) is a small boutique hotel in the center of Kigaly, in a small street with beautiful houses and great views. The house is beautiful, the staff is friendly and professional and the restaurant is great. The eve have a small pool for the hotel’s guests.

Prices can be a bit on the high side, and weekends evenings can be noisy.

Beautiful place in a very nice area. Staff was super nice, room was comfy, breakfast great, and whole building was beautiful!

In quiet residential area close to city centre. Really lovely team attended to needs of a large group. Great to have a pool!

The hotel was simply perfect. Extremely conveniently located near the Kigali Conference Center (just a 20-30 minute walk). I had a room on the second floor and the hotel was very quiet and clean. I felt very safe and welcomed by the friendly hotel staff. They even gave a complimentary jar of honey at check-out!
