    Pros +

    • Everything
    • Good breakfast, with a decent variery of items, a very good tasting omelete (tapioca is also available but it is not my thing) and.. sparkling wine! Haven't seen it anywhere else than in all-included ressorts in the Caribbean
    • Very good breakfast, friendly and efficient staff.

    Cons -

    • The pool was not what I expectedCost / Benefit; Benefit is good, Cost is a bit on the high side
    • The hotel needs to have a way to ensure that only guests can have access to the elevators and go up to guest floors. At this location anyone can simply walk into the lobby and go upstairs.
    • Old furniture and mold on ceiling and bathroom! It does not reflect the tradition of Golden Tulip

Location. Basically the only best quality.

Old and chipped walls, old Bed spread and thin. The night was chilled and i ask twice for more blankets that never arrived. Next day I went to the reception and they handle me the blanket in a plastic bag to take to the room.

The property was close to town and it felt very safe. The staff were very helpful and professional.

Greate breakfast, great service, and great location. The staff and valet was professional and always available. The rooms are spacious and clean, the AC is super powerful which is helpful in the Brazilian heat. Overall Golden Tulip is an amazing choice if you are traveling to Vitoria.

There are a few appliances that are lacking in the room. There isn't a kettle if you want tea and clothing irons are checked out at the front desk (without an ironing board), this can be inconvenient if you are traveling for business.

    Location

At check-in, hotel staff attempted to upcharge by charging per person, despite my reservation on Booking.com clearly indicating two guests. This seems like a deceptive tactic to upsell, as many travelers from the U.S. select "1 guest" even when two people are sharing a room. I had to prove that my booking was indeed for two guests, causing a frustrating delay. Who knows if this extra charge even goes to the hotel directly?Additionally, the room’s electrical outlets were sparking and shorting out when I plugged in my phone charger. After a 36-hour transoceanic journey, I was locked out of my room at 1 a.m. due to a malfunctioning key card. Engineering tried to fix it the first night but couldn’t; I was eventually let into the room, but the door lock continued to fail, requiring engineering help every time I left. The elevator doors were another safety hazard. The lower sensors were broken, and I witnessed a young child nearly get her arm caught. We had to force ourselves through the door to trigger the sensor. In summary, while the hotel looks appealing in photos, the infrastructure is poorly maintained, compromising safety and convenience. Some older staff members seemed bitter and indifferent toward guests; it felt out of place for Brazil, where hospitality is usually warm and welcoming.

    The breakfast was satisfactory.

The service was inadequate, and the room had a bad odor. The reception staff were unhelpful and unfriendly.

Good location and nice view on the upper floors.Good breakfast food selection and nice waiters.

I heard a lot about the hotel and was exited to see but seems like the best days have past. The rooms are from the 2000s and feel outdated the furniture was partly damaged, floor coming up, TV not hanging straight om the wall, AC control partly broken and super loud because of that, water not flushing well in the shower and sign of mold between the wall tiles. The ceiling and bed both had brownish stains. The lobby and breakfast area has really high ceilings which made it very noisy when having breakfast.Sky Lounge was not available when we visited which was disappointing.Overall not worth the price in my opinion.

The hotel is great - no complaints and breakfast is great. Also bar/restaurant has great options.

The only small complaint was that the room I stayed was a bit dark, not many lamps, but it was not an issue.

Nice hotel, located close to the water. We got an upgrade and endend up in a very spacious room. The breakfast was the highlight. Probably the best one we had in hotels. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A supermarket is just a view hundred meters away.

Room is pretty and spacious, beautiful view to the ocean and good location.

Terrible infrastructure. Very very LOUD music. Maybe there was some kind of concert in the building, I could hear very loud music from my room late at night. At breakfast and at the pool again more loud music. If you want to have a venue at the hotel for concerts you should at least have a very good infrastructure for soundproofing.Very old hotel, old elevators and dirty and greasy elevator doors. Keycard systems also very dated and multiple times the door wouldn’t open or would be stuck. Bathroom doesn’t have any amenities, hand soap is far away from the sink, no bar soap, no body lotion. Towels and pillows very bad quality, old and stiff mattress, air conditioning system is very loud and old as well. Breakfast is just okay. A lot of cakes were store bought. Juices were terrible and not a lot of options. Also I arrived in the middle of the night and no one helped with my bags, and I had 3 suitcases. Overall felt like I was paying for a very cheap hotel, one of those you find on a highway in the middle of nowhere. They’re pretty obnoxious and don’t care about their clients comfort because they are calling themselves four stars and asking for pretty high rates but don’t really work on improving anything. You’re better off staying at more cozy and simple hotel than there if you want some basic comfort and a good nights sleep.
