Comfort Hotel Matsuyama

Clean & relative spacious rooms for japanese std. Close to Matsumaya City Station, Tram stations and Matsuyama Castle Park. Reasonable breakfast includedThis hotel is a very reasonable choice if one wants to spend a few days in Matsumaya and does not need the fancy & glitzy stuff.

The room was small but fine and the location is very central and convenient for sightseeing. The breakfast was included and of very good quality. I could hear some stumbling from other guests but the nights were quiet and I slept well. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I recommend this hotel.

Staff was really nice. They almost have everything from iron to weight machines for luggage. Excellent experience.

Great location, we were really happy as we could walk to restaurants and was very close to the train station. We only styed one night as we were heading to Imabari the next day to start the Shimanami

The hotel is a short walk from the Matsuyama train station and is as central as it gets. There is also a complimentary breakfast service included as part of the stay.

We chose this hotel for its central location and car parking facilities. The hotel has no actual onsite parking. The hotel has an agreement with a nearby car parking lot. Unfortunately, this car park was full for the duration of our stay, either with other hotel patrons' vehicles or public cars.

Good value hotel, the breakfast included was decent. Easy self check-in. Convenient location and comfortable room.

Breakfast was very average. There is a middle aged male counter staff who was cold and rude. He did not find my booking in the first attempt, then he said I did not have booking with the hotel. I showed him my booking.com booking details and asked if he could try again. Eventually he found my booking, but he did not even say sorry for his mistake. All other staff members were very friendly and helpful, except for him.

Good spot to access the castle park below and walk or tram to the castle chairlift. Felt safe and vibrant in the city. Close walk to Parkrun for Saturday morning run at 8am.

There could have been a bit more instructions regarding parking as the parking lots within hotel premises were limited and the roads along hotel were one-way.

Hotel in the centre of Matsuyama, only 5 minutes from the tram and train station.5 to 10 minutes from the shopping street.A good breakfast.Able to store your luggage before check-in.

It was very close to Matsuyama-shi Station, very convenient. The room was very clean and staff were very friendly.

The hotel has few car park and they can assign the car park near the hotel. But the indication is not clear. The dinning room is small and crowded at breakfast time.

staff was so nice. and the room was very clean.only 4 mins walk to matsuyamashi eki and 15 mins walk to ookaido.

Very close to all major attractions. We were fortunate because we could even see the Castle from our rooms!

The hotel is quite a distance from the JR station for those who want to walk if it is your first time in the city. There a number of trams and buses that you can catch, instead; but figuring out which one if you don’t have Internet is daunting for people who can’t read or speak Japanese.

Comfortable room, great breakfast, good location near Matsuyama city station and 15 minute walk from Okaido downtown area
