Great location steps to Dogo Onsen, the Arcade, the clock, the train and bus station.Nice lobby, elevator, staff is welcoming and always ready to answer questions Our room was spacious, you can open the windows, we had a side view of the Onsen.Breakfast ok. Clean and quiet place.Beds are comfortable, everything works well, good value also.

I loved it all, this is not a problem, but the hotel is not new. I would say don't change a thing, it's perfect.

The breakfast was not good; it made no concession to non-Japanese tastes, and even as a Japanese breakfast it was meager.

This was right outside dogo onsen, so really close and great spot in town. the staff were great and the room had a nice counter and size to it. i didnt use the showers much as I went to the onsens much more. the restraunt that you get for breakfast service was really great meal. staff were kind and attentive and help with all my questions.

no laundry in the main building but there is one down the road it does cost the standard amount, I reccomend planning some time for that. no other complaints.

We enjoyed the location, our room, the lovely Japanese breakfast set and the yukatas provided in the room to use.

The rooms are a bit dated, however very clean and there is a certain charm about it. Fresh flowers by the elevators are nice.

Great location, right next to Dogo Onsen Honkan and 2 min walk to the other bathhouses. Its 5min walk to the Dogo Onsen tram stop, and bus stops to/around Matsuyama area and temple/shrines.Great breakfast and friendly service.

The location and convenient parking were nice. I wish they had onsen bags in the rooms which other hotels seemed to have. The breakfast was only okay.

I liked everything. The management is able to keep the rates accessible even though it is in a neighborhood that is filled with high-priced onsen hotels. None of them can match Patio Dogo's location, which is next to the historic hot spring bath.

In winter, the pavement is icy, which makes the 10-meter walk to Dogo Onsen dangerous. Do not forget to pray for an injury-free short walk while bathing in this blessed spot.

Right next door to historic onsen. The Dogo Onsen district is the most interesting part of Matsuyama and all walkable from the hotel. Very frequent tram service nearby for getting around the wider area. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good view of Dogo Onsen and easy access to the area.

I did not understand why access to coffee in the morning was so limited. Travelers like to rise early, coffee should be available from 6am till 10 am.

Incredible location overlooking the old Dogo onsen building, you can see the egret up close.Staff are excellent, helped us with a number of issues including Takuhaibin and parking.Facilities are good enough--an onsite onsen would be nice but given that you are 100ft from a famous onsen it's not a big deal.Parking was very easy, and the staff was very helpful. They have an in-building parking ferris wheel thing that the staff guides you in and out of.

The shared spaces are a little small, like the lobby, but it's so close to the heart of Dogo onsen that it's really not a problem.

The hotel is directly facing the main Dogo Onsen building. Its location is excellent. The bed is comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the bathroom and shower were very nice and modern.

Breakfast every day was the same meal. The food was quite good, but I would have preferred some variety.

This was a very elegant hotel which was a huge pleasure and relaxation to me after 3 days of cycling. The staff are incredibly positive, friendly and helpful. The location absolutely could not be better. Nice breakfast included. Spacious room. Everything I needed.

So conveniently located near the Dogo onsen, shopping arcade, restaurants, Dogo Park and Matsuyama Castle! Parking was off site, and a steep climb, but the car turn-around feature was convenient,

I asked for a room with a view of Dōgo onsen, which I got, so it was perfect.Very good noise insulation, eventhough the street was quite loud with people and I was practically the first floor above the restaurant, I did not hear a thing when I closed the windows.Spotlessly clean.Typical japanese breakfast, really good, little bit small portion.It is very convenient location, sice you can walk to onsen in your yukata and slippers.Staff is really nice, I was also allowed an early checkin. Checkout is at 11, which is definitely better than 10, like in most other places.

Excellent location. Directly opposite the historic Dogo Onsen and walking distance to many great restaurants. We arrived by ferry from Hiroshima which is a great way to see the Inland Sea. From the port it is a taxi ride to the hotel.
