Pros +
- Arrived by bicycle with no issue. A very beautiful and comfortable hotel experience with all sorts of unique touches. I look forward to staying for a third time!! Will always be my #1 pick in Saijo before heading into the mountains on Jitensha.
- I LOVED staying here. Everything is incredibly high quality. The rooms are stylish and beautiful, the bath was incredible. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the breakfast was incredibly high quality. It was really great. If you’re in the area and looking for a place to stay I highly recommend it.
- The hotel design was lovely! We took a family room with a garden, and the kids didn’t want to leave the room. We had everything we needed and more. The lobby offered drinks, including alcohol, and some great snacks — shrimp, spreads, and more.
Cons -
- Everything was excellent. No complaints at all. I wonder if the hotel could accommodate a group to store many bicycles overnight. Would go out of my way to stay again :)
- Actually nothing. Everything was amazing
- We decided to skip breakfast since the set menu didn’t suit our kids’ Western tastes, but it wasn’t a problem — there was a supermarket just a few minutes away. We enjoyed a lovely spread in our room, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a space where we could heat our food and use utensils, making everything very convenient.

Nice, more contemporary looking and feeling hotel which is a nice change of pace from the standard in Japan. Breakfast is in a very nice, comfortable area with some nice options.
The chair in the room was a little odd--like a piece you'd put on a patio rather than in a hotel room. Also, the room is small and the bathroom lacks soundproofing.
The room was excellent and extremely comfortable. The hotel is very beautiful, and the pantry is well-equipped with everything you need. It’s a great spot to sit, eat, and relax. Most importantly, the staff provided outstanding service—truly impressive.
The bathroom didn’t have any hooks or racks for towels, so I had to use a chair to place my things.
A beautifully designed hotel! The room was really beautiful and comfortable. Easy to access the free parking. Very good service!
Very comfortable hotel and value for money.
