Centrally located and east to get around.

We had a noisy neighbor who was yelling

Nice restaurants, nice that they offer a discount at the restaurants.

A little noisy and the shower water did not get consistently hot.

Nothing to complain. Excellent teppanyaki restaurant. Not cheap but you get what you paid for.

Limited space car parking.

This is a very well run hotel. It is centrally located. The staff was very professional and kind. The breakfast buffet is well worth the money for food and for the view. Since we were on cycling tour of Shikoku we were thrilled to know that there was a bike shop right next to the lobby with very good service mechanics. A real plus from our perspective!

A onzen bath spa would be welcomed, but not a deal breaker.

The view from the breakfast room is spectacular and the location is really convenient.Hotel staff is really helpful and friendly, the room was nice and clean.

The staff were super professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast up on the 14th floor is worth it for sure. Very nice!

The room is a little bit bigger that the standard single-room in Japan. Good amenities.

The location was good, close to a tram station, but the room had old furniture and aged wallpaper with stains, giving it an outdated look. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was okay.

Room temperature is nice under good control. Bed n pillows are nice. I had good sleep. Location is good.

Breakfast seems expensive when many items were not cooked well. Lack of flavors. Need better chef, I think. I went to nearby coffee shop for better n simple breakfast instead from 2nd day onwards.

Great room, great location in center, connected to Mitsukoshi by walkway. Has an Il Bisonte store in the hotel.

It does not have an onsen-style public bath in the hotel.

Perfect for the solo traveller. Staying basically in the heart of the city. Room was sized perfectly and hotel staff were amazing.

Nice hotel in Matsuyama close to all major attractions of the city. Many restaurants to pick from by walking just a few minutes.

The newspaper Nikkei was not delivered to my door, even though previously it was always properly delivered.

Hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall in downtown Matsuyama. Had a good nights sleep, quiet rooms. Tram station nearby to get to sightseeing Dogo Onsen, Ropeway to Matsuyama Castle only a few steps from the hotel. Very nice place to stay to discover Matsuyama and surroundings.

Directions to Annex Building not very clear, found it after short search. You have to go down to the lobby and up to the breakfast room on the top floor.

It's location relative to Matsuyama Castle and Dōgo Onsen.Good deal.Standard international chain hotel.Very nice staff in restaurants and bar.

We liked the professionalism and friendliness of the cleaning and breakfast staff. The location of the hotel was good.

The Staff on reception needed a reminder about the nature of their job. They are the first faces that people see when entering the hotel, during our stay they seemed unhappy in their roles on the whole, very professional but miserable and not approachable.

This hotel is very centrally located in Matsuyama, and everything is in easy walking distance. There is a large department store next door that has a food hall in the basement with lots of options for eating. The staff were great, and had even set up our luggage that we'd sent ahead in our room for us. The bar on the top floor has gorgeous views of the castle. Our room was compact but functional.

No issues with the hotel at all!

I liked everything about this hotel. The level of service and friendliness of staff impressed me the most but everything else was also top-notch. Breakfast was delicious Japanese fare (I think they also offer American-style but I didn't partake), the room was very comfortable and the location was good for me and my plans. Yeah, I reckon I'll stay here on my next visit to Matsuyama.

The only aspect of this hotel that was a bit of a bother to me was getting there from JR Matsuyama station. This is not the hotel's problem but mine. I dscovered that, by Iyo-tetsu train, the best route is #1 tram heading north from JR Matsuyama and the hotel is quite near Okaido station. Fare is JPY200 per person (100 for kids)
