Excellent location near shopping street, restaurants, bars, nearby sights, transportation

Very average hotel. Reasonable prices

Breakfast buffet was not particularly good. Bed was rather hard. Room decidedly on the small side. Not very convenient to the train station

Great location and good rooms. Room was a bit small, but depends on chosen room - in combination with a late escape deal the price was great.

Some furniture seems to be outdated.

Sound proof issue. Cleaners that come to clean the dorm sleeping area before check out time; they were loud chatting and in action. Some guests that were chatting in the sleeping area. Late night, early morning packing noise.

Very comfortable capsule, amenities are clean and you are provided with a new towel everyday. Helpful staff. And the hotel is also well situated, next to a big shopping street, restaurant and close to the bus station if you want to go to the station or the port. By foot it's about 20 min which is also good.

The common space on the capsule floor is a little small (only fits 4 people sitting). You can go to the reception floor, which has a very large common area, but then you have to get dressed again in "normal clothes" (no lounge clothes).

The dorm rooms are quiet and very clean. The location is great, as there is a lot of food, shopping and buses within a couple of blocks. I enjoyed my stay. I also love Ship's Cat sculpture!

room was clean, and kept that way every day by the room cleaning service. wallpaper was torn and soiled but that didn't bother us at all due to the excellent room cleaning. two bottles of complimentary water were also provided daily, really appreciated that. bedsheets etc. changed on request with no fuss. bath towel + hand towel also provided daily. elevator available, just ask the staff (great for strollers). decent selection of amenities also available for free. Wi-Fi was fine, no issues there. lounge area is spacious and clean with big ceiling windows letting in natural light. reception was always friendly, helpful, and available. gift shop also has cool little local trinkets. hotel also features a neat "SHIP'S CAT" theme (look on the roof for a giant cat).

layout of the room was a little odd with the bathroom being part of the area where you would keep your shoes on (but they give you slippers for that). entry to the room itself is also a little narrow, but just nit-picking at this point.

There were elevators, comic books and quite a spacious common area on the check in floor. It was also pretty close to shopping streets, so plenty of food options. There’s also a free coffee machine at the reception area.

The capsule can be really packed since the “locker” was more like a safe box and it’s not even located inside the capsule, so I had to put all my bags inside the capsule. The common eating area on the 10th floor has a good view, but unfortunately it can be pretty occupied, so I had to move to the second floor to get a quiet sitting spot.

Webase was my… base camp for the Setouchi Trienale and it was a great stay. I was apprehensive of hostels as I haven’t had an experience in a long time but this isn't the crowd of loud teens you might encounter in western countries so everybody is pretty quiet and I never felt bothered during my stay. The beds were more spacious and comfortable than I expected anf I slept soundly for three nights.The place is roughly 20-25mn from the port by foot which makes it convenient and not too tiresome to go back and forth to visit islands. It's also quite convenient to eat good restaurants and bars within 10-15mn of walk.Staff was friendly and of great help when I forgot my code or needed them to pick up my laundry.

Passable

My booking was a room for 1 adult and 2 kids, which breakfast included. However when i arrived, I have been told that breakfast only included for adult but not for kids. Is it I suppose to leave my kids in the room and I go to have my breakfast alone!? What a silly policy!!

Good location, lots of facilities. Our room and bathroom felt quite small compared to others we’d stayed in for a similar price but was perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was good. Fewer extras (like some toiletries) but these could all be hired from reception and there was a laundry too.

The hotel is located close to lively areas with restaurants and shops and relatively close to the train station and gardens. It was clean, easy to check in and check out and the staff was friendly.

Very well located, functional room, friendly staff. Only stayed there for one night.

Large room with really nice Japanese-style bathroom including a bathtub. We enjoyed that a lot since it was rather cold during our stay. Only downside in the room: the insulation of the windows is really bad. We had to cover the sill so we wouldn’t freeze in the night since it was just above the bed. Staff is really nice, accommodating and trying to help as much as they can.Breakfast was ok, could be a little more variety.

Great location with easy access to Takamatsu's shopping arcades and plentiful choices for dining. Clean facilities and spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet was great!

Bed wasn't very comfortable. Seemed to be a thin foam mattress. Air con was too cold too. Didn't sleep comfortably here.

Location

Condition of the room. Very poor for japanese standards. Stained old carpet, stained dirty walls.

Cute reasonably-priced hotel at a very convenient location.

Twin Room is a bit on a smaller side but, to be fair, is well equipped.

Staff is very kind and helpful! Room was spacious and well designed. Location is great for walking around Takamatsu.

Since we are vegetarians, we could not eat many of the dishes that are offered in the breakfast buffet. The infos about allergens were also not so clear. However we did find a few options and staff was prompt to answer questions about the food.
