Pros +
- It’s very close to the JR Station.
- Very basic. Rooms were in another building from check in. There are two hotels with the same name. That needs to be made clearer. Staff at front desk were friendly.
- Right across the street from the Station, the Castle, and the train to Rykurin Gardens.
Cons -
- First, the hotel consists of two nearby buildings. If you arrive at the annex first and don’t know that there is another building, it can be very confusing. There should be better signage within the hotel, or a pre-arrival email informing guests of the layout.Secondly, even by Japanese standards, the room was small. There was no cabinet or wardrobe — only a few hooks.Thirdly and worst of all, the “view” from our room consisted of a massive concrete wall just a few inches away. The only guests who might appreciate this would be mountaineers looking to practice their chimneying.Usually, I am not too critical about views: one accepts that hotels have rooms with both good and bad outlooks, and sometimes one is lucky and sometimes not. However, the concrete-wall panorama was not something that a reasonable traveler would expect. I understand that the hotel has rooms overlooking a concrete wall and wants to make use of them. Perhaps this can be addressed in the room description. The guests would know what they are in for, and the hotel would probably get fewer negative reviews.
- Very very basic. Window opened on to building next door ten inches away. Beds were hard. Room was very dated but clean. Breakfast which was included was back at the train station!!
- Very small room for 2 people with luggage.

Very small room for 2 people with luggage.
Comfortable enough, met my needs. Very well located close to both rail stations, shopping and restaurants.
The Hotel has a woefully inadequate WiFi service: no security and inadequate bandwidth.
Passable
Facilities not good, glass cup was broken after pouring in hot water, freezer not plugged, cloth hanger broken
The location was great, next to the port. Supermarkets and places to eat right around the corner
The rooms are quite outdated, and the mattress was so too firm and uncomfortable. We could feel the springs as we slept.
This is a good location and very close to train station. Staffs are so friendly and can speak English very well. There is no problems with communications. If I have a chance to come back, this place will be my choice again!
Meal tickets for the Little Mermaid bakery
Why the hell are the futon comforters so dirty ??The closet was also locked
The worst hotel in this Japen trip
The hotel is quite old. The room is very hot, and the ventilation is bad. The key is linked with the stick that is used to connect the electricity in room. Hence, you cannot switch on the air-conditioner and fright when you leave the room. I tried to remove the stick from the key chain to connect the electricity when I left the room. The cleaner will switch off the air-conditioner so you will feel very hot when you come back to the room. The toilet is also not very clean. The tap is shared with the basin side and bath tub so it's inconvenient. The overall feeling is not good. I stayed 5 hotels in this trip and this is the worst one.
The location is excellent, just in front of the train station and 7-eleven
Cleanness is not as good as Toyoko-inn. Some smell in the room at first approach. My sister got some allergy from bed or curtain or carpet.
The location is good, it is just opposite to the JR Station. Just add a little money, then the breakfast is included. Though it is not served at the hotel, it is quite convenient inside the JR Station
If the staff at the front desk can speak English well, it is better.
Location and the staff was nice
there were dust everywhere it was not clean enough to stay
Just in front of the jr station, perfect those who only need to sleepover and travel the next morning !The room we had was spacious for 3 people.
Extremely friendly staff and excellent location.
Window looked out at a wall.
location was directly opposite the JR. hence it was very convenient. the staff were friendly
there was very loud banging from above throughout the whole stay at night, to the extent that sometimes the cloths hangar would shake. We went to investigate and noted that the floor above had the same problem. Couldn’t rest well at night.
Fantastically located across the road from Takamatsu Station. It's not quite the city centre but great access to the main JR station and the local station is also a short 5min walk was away Bed was plenty big and room had enough space. Check in was a bit quirky as it was in another building but not a big deal. Staff were super friendly and helpful as well.
Dated building and there is not a lot of natural light as the window opened up to a wall. Not a big deal but just be aware. Facilities was very self serve as welll but that was fine. Keys are also old school manual one rather than a key card but again not a huge deal. Bathroom was very tight so be aware.
The location is perfect. It is located right infront of the JR station, bus terminal and 5-7minutes walk to the takamatsu port. There are a lot of places to eat too in the surroundings.
room is a bit old. water noises, foot steps from other rooms can be heard. Also noise from water drain pipe(?) outside could be heard.
just in front of the jr station. so for those who only need to sleepover and travel the next morning is a perfect choice!
one window was facing a wall. a bit spooky when opened, but interesting for a one time experience.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location is convenient.
