Holiday Inn Express Hangzhou East Station By IHG

Excellent location. Within walking distance from Hangzhounan (South) Railway Station, which also has plenty of buses and a subway station, so it is very easy to get anywhere in the city. Shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. The room is fine – standard exactly as expected for this price/stars level

bathroom little worn down

Friendly front desk and breakfast

No concierge and didi pick up location could be much better. Distance to east station is quite far.

price.

The AC is malfunctioning, and the carpet is not clean, which makes my foot itchy.

Good location near to Hangzhou Dong railway station.

Taxi pick up and drop off at the road side.

The staff were very friendly and courteous.Hotel is located near Hangzhou East station which is about 10 minutes walk away and amenities are all within reach nearby. It even has a launderette which is a big plus for us travelers.

Nil

The breakfast was fantastic. The location was good, however when you put into google maps it would come up with another location 10-15minutes walk away. Very comfortable & had USB outlets which was great.

Liked everything - the rooms were good. Very comfortable & had USB outlets which was great.

it is close to High-speed train station, the breakfast is nice!

but if you have luggage, it is not easy to walk to this hotel. also, it is some distance to tourist area, you have to consider taking taxi or other public transportation to get there.

The hotel is close (15 min walk) to Hangzhou East Railway Station, making it ideal for early morning travellers. The subway is also conveniently located making it easy to get around the city. The area has developed quite a bit to include clothing shops and restaurants nearby.

No problems at all. Happy with my stay.

Location is great on few minutes walk to subway.. Food is way beyond expectations. Many free movies to view in the room. In addition, the staffs are always smiling. Also, laundry is free.

Not at all. Everything is more than perfect for us.

1. The breakfast range is unbelievable for the price it is. The lady at the noodle bar simply loves life! She greets everyone with such warmth that brightens up our day every morning we walk in.2. The hotel is spotlessly clean.3. The bed is super comfortable. 4. The hotel drying machine is excellent. It dries clothes without the wet hot feel.5. The hotel is a stone's throw away from Hangzhou East Railway Station, which is a gigantic train station that you can take bullet train to different cities, and a subway station that you can take to get to other parts of the city.6. Front desk is 24 hour, and always there to help if you need anything. Service is excellent.7. There's a children's play space right next to the hotel, so if you have children under 10, it's a great place to let them get the energies out as it can be quite difficult to find play areas for children in city center.

Absolutely nothing.

Perfect location, near the metro.

Choice of food options for foreign travellers were limited.

Convenient location and a stone throw from train station. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast spread was awesome and hospitable and attentive staff in the front desk as well as restaurant.

The room gets a little stuffy due to the centralised aircon and ventilation system.

Clean , new , well mantained. I payed 100 euro for 2 nights with breakfasts included, very good price.Location perfect to move around the city.

Not many english speakers at the reception ,but they try their best to help you.

Location was great (for my needs), very near to the train station.Check in was fast.Room was clean and did not smell of smoke. Toilet was clean.Room was quiet at night, no noises.Check out was fast and invoicing was quick.

Breakfast was very rich, probably 85% non-vegetarian and 15% vegetarian.Suggest to improve the vegetarian choices. Most vegetarian people's only requirement is to find a veggie-based dish that is just not mixed with meat or fish. It would be very easy to accommodate...

This hotel is very near to the Hangzhou East station, thus convenient if you are travelling to other cities in China. The room is spacious, and facilities are very new and well maintained. The hotel also has many amenities nearby, making it a good option for short stay.

Slightly more expensive, however, there is nothing much to complain considering the good location and good amenities nearby.

Breakfast is good, Room is spacious, Location is also not too bad since we can be picked up easily by 'DiDi' just outside hotel (it is not easy for cars to stop at random places)

Although it is a Non-Smoking Hotel but there are still guests who smoke in rooms. I was given L6 floor room and both mornings when I stepped out of the room, I could smell strong cigarette outside room. I guess it is difficult to control guests but maybe Hotel can warn all guests that fine/penalty will be imposed if guests are caught smoking and have more signage about giving a penalty or fine if guests are caught smoking.

Great location. The area has developed a lot since my last stay. Coffee shops and restaurants abound. Best place to stay if you have an early train to catch.

Not much in terms of a nightlife, but there is enough public transport to easily get around.

Location is good. Easy to get on Railway.

At checkin and checkout, I preared my credit card but the hotel staff didn't requre my credit card. After chechout the hotel mail me to pay hotel fee that hasn't been payed. Also they request me to call phone to the hotel. I called phone to the hotel, but hotel staffs couldn't speak English, so I had to ask my business related company's Chinese staff to talk to the hotel staff. Finally by updating my credit card registration on the Bookig.com website, the hotel could get my hotel fee. But all the process had a lot of time and was huge inconvinience for me .

Nice service and good breakfast. Near high speed rail and subway systems.

wifi worked.

smell of smoke from smoking floors, location not where it says it is on the map. Front desk barely speaks a word of english.
