About

Located in the heart of Tel Aviv, the Bell Hotel offers free WiFi, as well as views of the sea and of the Tayelet seaside promenade. It's a 2-minute walk from the beach and 15 minutes from Jaffa Old City. The Bell is set in a striking white building designed in the 1920s. Its compact and functional rooms include air conditioning, a private bathroom and tea/coffee maker. Some rooms have a spa bath, and some offer a private sea-view terrace. The ground-floor spa is complete with a 40° hammam with 90% humidity, a sauna, and a salt cave with Ukrainian salt. Massages are available in the spa or directly in your room. An Israeli breakfast is served every morning, including a wide range of fresh fruit, cereals, bread, cheese, salads and other Mediterranean delights.

Pros +

  • Great location right near the beach, clean room, nice breakfast area with coffee, staff was very welcoming, beds were comfortable.

  • The location to the beach was incredible. There was also lots of restaurants and stores. Plenty of taxi's around, but you should use the "Gett Taxi" app while in Israel. The room was modern and the wifi was decent.

Cons -

  • FYI. No parking on premises, you have to find a parking lot. Hard to park on the street. You have to walk up steps to get to hotel, but I didn't mind. We faced a wall from our room. Would have preferred an outside view.
  • Pictures created a very false image of the place. I stacked suitcases in front of my door because I did not feel entirely safe. I am a very experienced traveler and was totally surprised.
  • To start on arrival the receptionist nearly speaks English, I asked for some places or locations and she didn¿t know because she is not from Tel Aviv. The room was some clean. The bathroom shower is very dirty and old, The balcony was dirty for months.
