- My husband fell ill during our stay in Salta, and the hotel staff were very helpful in arranging a medical team to visit in our hotel room. The gym is great and exceeded my expectations. We had an interleading suite with our teenage son which worked so well.
- The breakfast is always good, the rooms are clean and the staff are friendly. It is a short walk to the town square and tourist spots (Cathedral etc). There are plenty of restaurants within a short walk of the hotel.
Cons -
- I wish they provided an iron.

This has to be the best 'breakfast included' I have ever had. The pastry chef is terrific. Excellent room.

The hotel is very good. Gym is great and masssges too.
The breakfast was good, not excellent but people at hotel was very nice.
Very stylish, extremely comfortable. Well staffed.
Smell in bathroom.
Very elegant and spacious room. Nice, comfortable bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Very good air condition and ventilation.Good breakfast.Excellent and helpful staff.
The swimming pool is smaller and less attractive than on the photographs.
Highlights: Free valet parking, excellent gymRoom was as expected for a 5 star.
The breakfast was good but what I'd expect from a 4 star, possibly more variety required. The jacuzzi (or what I thought would be a jacuzzi from the pictures) at the end of the pool was not hot and had no bubbles.
The hotel is modern and rooms are big, staff is so kind, breakfast is excellent and Alejandro 1 is the perfect place to start your journey by the wonderful sights in Salta and Jujuy.
Everything was excellent from check in to check out.We was late for check in (only 04h00 in the morning but wasn't a problem at all)
Few small things like shower door handles was loose and bath was dirty or damage by the water drainage opening
Fabulous hotel located a few minutes walk from the main square. You have a huge number of historical landmarks and restaurants and bars a few steps away. We arrived with a rental car and as soon as you arrive, there is someone who will help you with your luggage and park your car in their secure parking. That was great, as Salta is busy and difficult to locate parking nearby. The check in was smooth, the staff super friendly and will explain the hotel's amenities and will offer further information on what to see, etc. The rooms are spacious, clean, well equipped. Ours had a great view from the 4th floor. We slept very well and had everything we needed there. The breakfast is buffet style, varied, had gluten-free options. The coffee was probably the only thing that let the breakfast down, as it was filtered and quite weak. You can order coffee separately, but it has a cost implication. This was not an issue for us as there are lots of coffee shops around the area to choose from for your morning caffeine hit. The gym is compact and well equipped. Bear in mind it is shared between members and hotel guests. They provide you with towels for both the gym and pool area. Very clean, great for a workout. All in all, the hotel scores 5 stars for its location, amenities, and particularly for its staff, who are incredibly helpful, friendly and will go out of their way to assist. Great place. Highly recommend.
Breakfast was great , wine happy hour was excellent, very nice they moved us to the 11 floor suit when there was a plumbing room. We appreciated the doorman/porter/loony staff/ front end staff going the extra mile and putting up the Canadian flag up for us. Alexander is my middle name.
That we could not stay longer
The staff is very friendly and helpful; they do their best to make up for the issues with the hotel.
This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. The breakfast options are very limited, and you have to pay extra for a cappuccino. Whenever we requested soft-boiled eggs or sunny side up eggs, we had to wait for 10 minutes or more. Lunch was also very disappointing, and I would not recommend dining there. The city experiences frequent power outages. While the hotel has a backup generator, it often malfunctions. My wife was stuck in the elevator for over 20 minutes because of this.In the swimming pool, the paint is peeling from the ceiling, which looks quite unsightly.
Room size, views, art and elevator ride up to 8th floor. Free parking with friendly valet.
No kettle or tea/coffee in room. Restaurant staff didn’t say coffees like cappuccino are extra cost for breakfast (before ordering). Got food poisoning eating 2 small bites of trout in restaurant - thankfully sent it back when I realised it was off.
Everything! Absolutely wonderful hotel in every way. Immaculate bedrooms, bathroom, lobby and restaurant. Service was outstanding - welcoming charming door man who took our cases up, reception staff and restaurant staff were all excellent polite and friendly. Our only regret was that we had only booked one night.
